Is it common for pregnant cats to have two litters in the same spot?
My cat had her first litter in my bathroom now she's preg again and due any day and she's been hanging in my bathroom and won't get out does this mean she will give birth in there again?
Blood in pregnant cats stool......?
History we rescued a female cat she was about 1.5 yrs old and already had 1 litter. When we got her she had never been to a vet. So we did all the vet care and scheduled her getting spayed. We took a vacation and the house sitter was annoyed by her and put her outside seriously upset since she hates to be outside on top of being in heat . Well she was annoying cause she was in heat So here we are awaiting a litter of kittens do Jan 2. She had blood in her stool so the vet came and checked her out said she is fine and that it is normal. But now I notice dried blood around her rump and still blood in some, tho not all, of her stool. This doesn't seem normal to me and I'm thinking I need to get a 2nd opinion tomorrow when I can call around. But until then I wanted some input from anyone who has dealt with this before and have had pregnant cats before.
Can pregnant cats eat catnip?
I'm not 100% sure my cat's pregnant and I want to give her cat nip but I wouldn't want to hurt her babies. I'm sure it'd be fine, just making sure.
Whats a pregnant cats water breaking look like?

Questions about my (possibly) pregnant cat?
Alright so, my cat Piper might be pregnant. Her stomach has doubled in size over the past week, shes an indoor outdoor cat, and she isnt spayed yet so its for sure possible. She goes to the vet on Wednesday to confirm deny pregnancy, and she will be fixed either after the kittens are weaned, or sometime next week if she isnt pregnant. My questions are and theyre based on if she IS pregnant Since shes an indoor outdoor cat, should I limit her outdoor time? Meaning only allowed out with supervision, and not for extended periods of time? shes like a dog, and comes when called so having her run off isnt really an issue How often should she see the vet before the kittens are born? And how often should the kittens see the vet after theyre born? Twice a week, once a week, what? I understand I need to monitor her temperature as an indication of when the kittens might be born, so when should I start taking her temperature, and how many times a day should I do that?Ive heard that it benefits the mom and kittens if the mom is on a good quality kitten food during pregnancy, so if she is confirmed pregnant, should I switch her to that? Can I get the kittens spayed neutered before they go to new approved homes at 8 10 weeks? If I cant get them fixed that soon, I should type up and make the owners sign a legal contract saying they'll have the kitten fixed by a certain time, correct?Should I monitor the kittens weight, or is that generally only required if hand feeding?Do first time mothers generally have quite a few kittens, or can we be safe expecting a maximum of 5?I guess this was a lot of questions, haha, I just wanna be sure that we're doing this right. We dont really want kittens, but if we have them then we want to ensure they have proper care very early on. Any other information that you think I should know would be greatly appreciated. Caf Mocha Valencia While I admit it was my mistake to let her outside while she was unaltered, she did everything in her power to get out. It became frustrating to have to catch her 5 times a day because she would run past you at the last second, almost getting the door slammed on her in our attempts to keep her in. She also started being insanely mean while indoors, she was an unhappy cat being inside. She was born outside and stayed there until she was 4 months old. She was kept inside until a year ago when I started realizing that " Hey, she hangs around the house, and comes in when she wants. She also doesnt try to attack family members the other animals anymore." I have 3 other cats that are strictly inside, and if I could keep her in all the time, I would but all it was doing was stressing her and I out. As for aborting the kittens, Ive done that before with another cat, and I already mentioned it to the vet tech when I made the appointment. Her stomach has doubled It cut off the rest of that edit, and I really dont care enough to type it again.Everyone else who answered and wasnt a dick about it, thank you. I'll consult my vet with these questions and more if I have them.
We found a very pregnant cat! HELP?
My sister saw a pregnant in her boyfriends back yard a few days ago, so my mom said that we could take care of her until she has her kittens. I think she might have them soon since i heard they are only pregnant for about nine weeks. I also was told that if the cat doesn't trust you she will eat all her kittens to protect them from you. How can we get her to trust at least one person in the house ? She will be in my sister's room until she has her kittens so she wont go all crazy protective on all our cats. Any additional info of how to deliver and take care of the kittens would be helpful too
Quick question about my pregnant cat?
My friend's cat got pregnant, he was going to keep his cat and find homes, but he had to move, so he gave her to me. Anyways, I live next to a field that has a ton of fleas, sadly, and my dogs gave her fleas. I have Hartz ultragaurd one spot treameant for cats and kittens, can I SAFELY use it on her, or will that hurt the kittens? No no no They don't have a large number of fleas, at all Just a few And she is STILL pregnant, that is why I was wondering
Male cat keeps bothering my pregnant cat?
so here's the deal, i have two female cats, and they're sisters. there is a orange cat that used to come to my house and i'm guessing he got one of my cats pregnant. now he's pretty much gone but this other brown cat keeps coming to my house and jumping on my pregnant cat... i threw some mangoes at it but it keeps coming back. surely he doesn't want to mate with my already pregnant cat...? why is it so persistent? it doesn't seem interested in the non pregnant cat... i'm bringing my pregnant cat to the vet tomorrow to check up and bringing the other cat to be neutered spayed...but what's the deal with the brown cat exactly?
Pregnant cat about to give birth is feeding a 5 week old kitten from another litter, is it Ok?
no the kitten is not hers, I have 2 rescue girls, one has had a littler of kittens awaiting spaying after kittens have been weaned the other also a rescue is pregnant and she seems to have stolen it from the other girl after showing signs of birthing. wondering if this is normal behavior mother cat has no issues of her taking it and what would the procedure be? please note both cats are rescues and will be spayed asap. the kittens will be placed in loving homes and also spayed neutered when possibleUPDATE I separated them and after an hour or so after been frantic and meowing she settled down to give birth to 6 little kittens, very small and fragile but she is doing OK with them. the other mum is glad to have her baby back. thank you for your lovely answers and help I would choose both if I could.
