Question: Is it safe to give my pregnant cat amoxicillin?

She had an infected paw nail. Took her to the vet who cut the nail and gave me the antibiotics. Im sure i mentioned she was pregnant, but now im not sure.

If your vet knew your cat was pregnant and didn't suggest an emergency spay, I'd suggest getting a new vet RIGHT NOW! The most critical care your cat needs RIGHT NOW is to get RID OF THIS LITTER!!! Backyard breeding is wrong, evil, bad for the poor cat, and wrong for the environment. There are far too many cats and kittens already waiting for adoption to make more kittens. That's just morally reprehensible. And no, a pregnant cat should NOT have been given anti-biotics!

No. it is not safe for a pregnant cat to take an antibiotic. Call your vet and ask.
