What colours do persian cats come in?
I have a seal point, red point, and I've also had a fully grey cat and a blue point. what other colours are there?
Breeding black persian cats? Breeding information?
I have a pure black persian male I have papers for him , he is about a year old and I am curious about breeding him here soon. I do not know much about breeding cats so I would like some insight on when he will be ready and at what ages will a female persian be ready. Also, what color persians I can breed him with. If I were to breed him with a white persian what color do you think the kittens would be? Are black persians more desirable? Any opinions and advice are welcome Thanks in advance.
Is it normal for my persian cats tail to be very thin under the fur?
I have never had Persians before I'm taking care of a female, and her tail is super skinny under all the fur. Almost as thin as a pencil from about halfway up. Is this normal?? She's very pretty, and pedigreed. If you didn't feel the tail you could never notice, but for me, it's weird Thanks all I know they're all pretty thin, hers is just REALLY thin compared to others I've seen. It does look about the size of the Sphynx, though, so it's probably within the normal range.
What is the best grooming brush/comb for persian cats?
I have a 1 year old persian and a 9 month old. They recently got the lion cut, but they outgrew it really quick and think they look best long. Then again I will be having a baby in January and don't want cat fur all over the place .So what is the best tool to use for this breed to avoid shedding other than buzzing them off or getting rid of them too. x

Why do my persian cats sit up like they are in a chair?
They sit on the floor like people who sit upright in chairs with their legs out, and hands folded across their lap. only my persians do it, not the other cats. Is this just one of their mannerisms or do all kinds of cats do this
What do persian cats like to eat?
we have himalayan persian and shes REALLY fussy. we give her wet food but she doesnt really like to eat it... weve tried mixing it with biscuits etc but she still isnt satisfied.... what do they like to eat?? she loves her cat milk and certian cat biscuits, but shes very picky, and id like her to eat a little more than what she does... any ideas????

Just adopted a persian cat, need some advice/tips.?
he is gorgeous. Poor guy was completely pelted when he got to the rescue, so they gave him a lion cut. He is the type of Persian that never grooms himself, ever. I bought Eye wipes, a ceramic dish I was told plastic ones make him break out , a slicker brush and comb, and I am hunting for ear wipes as well. I work at Petsmart as a groomer, and while I have not been trained to groom cats I know several Petsmart Groomers that have and are awesome at it, and I am probably going to keep him in a lion cut because it looks awesome on him. I am going to be transitioning him to Blue Buffalo Grain Free. I have a water fountain he drinks out of quite well. I am just looking for tips, tricks, advice on anything you know as far as persian cats are concerned. Weezy and I thank you in advance
Do you need to close windows/doors for a Persian cat?
I would like to get a Persian cat. My questions is does Persian cats ran away if you leave your windows open? I used to have an African Lynx and my lynx just sleeps around the house and if you leave him outdoors, will instantly go indoors.I'm worried that if I get a Persian cat, that it might go out the window which my housemates always leaves open and it might go out and get stolen.

Persian cat urine results?
i JUST GOT THIS RESULT VIA EMAIL TONIGHT. I dont inderstand it fully,.urine sample still showed lots of Whit blood cells, a trace of protein a PH of 8 and a specific gravity of 1022. The low specific gravity can be due to the change of food to wet food 80% of water in that . If she is doing ok and is settled I wouldn't give her any treatment , just monitor her.I'm happy with my cats progress but I dont understabd my vets email and they are clse for the weekend xMoonstone who is looking for problems My cat has had cystitis for 5mths plus Im looking for answers to this vet email I can get an answer in three days but i am hasty and id like to see us doing ok xxxthere is no stress in my cats life thats what we cant understand So ive changed foo dry to wet 4 months ago and VOILA It was most surely the the food causing th problem however, what is is this please???
