Manx cats can be a bit temperamental, but if they are introduced as kittens (or slowly as adults) to another cat, they can get along quite well. Be sure that you introduce them slowly, and don't leave them alone together until you are sure they are getting along well.

I think they are. My friend has one Manx and two domestic shorthairs and they are like best friends.

Yes, in my opinion and of all the cats I have known I feel the Manx is the best breed. They are very smart, loyal, playful and instinctively know how to fetch just like a dog. I cannot tell you how many bets I have won betting my cats can fetch just like dogs. One Manx I found was at the shelter and the other was a giveaway I found in the paper.
