What do you think about manx cats? Are they smart?

Are manx cats deformed?
Do manx cats have short tails because their spines are deformed? How old is a teenage cat?I read that they live to their teens but I'm not exactly sure what that means. I read an article that sounded like it was dangerous to breed manx cats because they can become really deformed? My boyfriend is looking at buying one because he thinks they're cute. I just really don't want the poor thing to have problems with it's bladder and insides and have to be put down or something. It would absolutely devastate him.
How rare are red/orange manx cats and are males more rare than females? Are more hypoallergenic?
They say that manx cats like water. Why doesnt my manx like water?
we tryied putting him in water his whole life at least once a month
Questions about manx cats?
im thinking about getting a manx cat in the future and i have some questions...1. Do Manx cats like to be held?2. Are they more likely to be attached to one person?3. Are they playful and pleasant?4. And what are some things i should maybe know about them?
Are male manx cats deaf?
Can I breed two manx cats together or will all the kittens be born dead?
I have a male and a female manx cat which means I might let them have kittens. Is that okay? They might be dead because the gene that makes them tail less can also make them spineless and result in death but I didn't know if I could breed mine because I assume that's what they do in the wild. But IDK.They might be dead because the gene that makes them tail less can also make them spineless and result in death but I didn't know if I could breed mine because I assume that's what they do in the wild. But IDK.
Is there anywhere close to Omaha, Nebraska where manx cats under 6 months old are being sold for under $150?
My dad and i are looking to buy one, but we can't find anywhere close or anywhere reasonably selling. If you have an actual answer, please respond. We found a place in Kansas City who will sell for $600 but that's completely out of our budget at the moment. don't bother telling me about them. i've had manx's before. we've also had 2 manx cats have kittens, kept a few and they are just fine
I heard that Manx cats are more cuddly and loyal than Tabby cats....is this true?
reason i ask is that I'm looking to adopt my very 1st cat pretty soon......could you advise me??

Ok so we have 6 cats I know, lol and we have one bathroom for all the cats. It has 4 litter boxes in it. Recently, one of our manx male cats has started to poop on the middle of the bathroom floor. How should I have him stop?
Are Manx cats good with other cats?
are Manx cats good with other cats?
My Manx cat has had diarrhea her whole life but doesn't have worms. Anything I can do the help?
I have had my cat Talena Brooklyn since she was 6 weeks old she is now 9 months . When I first got her she was constipated to the point of crying every time she tried to go and would bleed out of her back end. I brought her to the vet the next day and she was dewormed and given medicine to loosen her stools and we were told to give her pumpkin if it was a constant problem. Well after the first few weeks it switched to completely runny stools and when we brought her in they gave her dewormer that covered all types of worms but it didn't help. Then they had me switch her to a grain free food which we tried for 6 months and it hasn't helped at all. I know that Manx cats are known for their loose stools but it's now become a huge problem. Since she doesn't have a tail, the poop sticks to her back end. I cut the fur as close as possible to her skin so it doesn't stick but when she goes it sticks to her bottom and when she sits down... it makes a mess She has was recently tested again for worms and it came back negative, she is FIV negatice and doesn't have feline Leukemia, she is fixed and UTD on her shots. My roommate wants me to get rid of her because she makes such a mess but I love her. Is there anything I can give to help harden her stools or a way to help stop her from making a mess where she sits? She doesn't have Manx Syndrome. She can control her bowel movements and doesn't have any nerve problems. She has never not used the litter box. It is just always on her back end so when she sits down it gets on the carpet, bed or furniture. If her stools weren't so loose it wouldn't stick to her back end. I started her on yogurt last night and will see if that helps. I'm going to bring her in again on Friday when I have a chance before work. I highly doubt the test for worms was wrong because all of our cats were tested for worms at the same time and they cam back negative. They're all indoor cats and get routine dewormer.
Can Manx cats jump on high surfaces if they only have a stump for a tail (or no tail at all)?
The reason I ask is because my Manx cat, Rocky has a little stump for a tail and he loves to sleep on my bed. He can't jump up on my bed at all. My mattress is very high up and he has to dig his claws into my mattress and climb up to the top. But, a little bit ago when I was in the kitchen getting a drink of water, he was in the kitchen with me. We have a security gate in the entrance to the kitchen so my sister's dog can't get through, and when I was in the living room feeding my other cat, I saw Rocky look up at the gate and he made a perfect jump right over it. I was in total shock, because I thought lacking a full tail like my other cat's...he can jump up onto ANYTHING it would be difficult for him to jump over that gate. Usually he'll meow until someone comes and carries him over the gate. Is it his powerful back bunny like feet or did he actually have the balls to try and jump over that gate himself. And if he jumped over that security gate so well, why does he go 'mountain climbing' on my mattress all the time? The mattress and that gate are about the same height. I'm just asking out of pure curiosity.
Does anyone know about a manx (cat) ?
I got a manx yesterday, and he's not like a normal kitten, when he runs he looks like a rabbit, and he's a lot meaner than normal cats, does anyone else have one, and how does yours behave? No manx are either male or female, mine is a dimple rumpyIt was born tail less, no stump , no nothingand believe me when I tell you, manny isn't stupid. He is a very intelligent little fellow
