Question: My cat is nearing labor, but is acting really weird with the other male cat, its dragging him?

All over by his scruff, is this ok? are her mother instincts poppin out or should we stop this? the pregnant cat is catching the other cat by his scruff and dragging him all over, what do i do in this situation?

Its a motherly instinct.. she thinks the male is going to harm her.. keep them apart as much as possible.. that may help..

You MUST seperate the male cat from the female cat she is trying to make him away from her cuz male cats by instinct eac the very newly born kittens its a fact eventhough u might find it weird but trust me thats the case

Yes, that would be nesting. If she wanted him away from her, she'd be attacking him.... However, the male cat shouldn't be near her when she is about to give birth, so keep her shut in a bedroom with a litter box, food, and water. Make her a nice little nest (maybe on your closet floor) for her to have the kittens, though don't be surprised if she prefers to have them on or under your bed. Be sure you or someone sits up with her when she is having her babies, to assist if necessary or rush her to the vet if things go wrong.
