Question: Lost cat storys i need some hope!?

My kittys been missing for almost 2 months and im so upset:( id just like some lost cat success storys please to give me some hope thanks!

I had a cat once who ran away 3 or 4 time, was gone for a long period of time but always came home

I had a cat turn up down the block a few months after she went missing she was fine! Good luck with yours :)

I had a cat who was gone for 3 months and returned with kittens. Sorry about your cast illpray you find her!

Ok, I'll give you some help in this area since I've seen at least 2 cats recovered, but you have to do your part. Do you know where that cat was last seen? Take a towel/ rag that you (and anybody who might live with you that the cat likes) and rub it all over your body where you're comfortable, like under your armpits or so, then team that up with a have a heart trap with either a can of cat food or a can of cheap really smelly tuna. And you need to be aware that you may run into a possum or skunk, so be careful approaching that, or several traps if possible, before you give the skunk a shot at you. It's always been my experience that owners kitty makes it back. I know it's difficult to believe right now but I've been 100% accurate thus far so please let me know either way so that I can learn from your experiences and share them (name not included of course). If you have any idea where the kitty might be start there, and work out I really hope your kitty makes it back, but you need to do your part too. I've laid it out so please go for it because there are people on the net who are rooting for ya'll now. Not just me. There may be up's and down's, but you bought it so I know that it means a lot to you. And I am hoping to get even a brief email from you if you find the kitty. Good hunting...

I really hope it turns up, I know exactly how you feel. Our cat was kidnapped and taken about 10 suburbs away. Of course, we did not know that then. We put flyers up in our street with a pic and description. She was a very noticable cat, all white with silver feet, ears and a silver spot on her side. She went on a Saturday night and on Tuesday night we got a call from a guy who lived miles away. He walked up our street to get to work and had seen the flyers. He told me a story of how on early Sunday morning he and 3 mates had met some girls at a club and were invited back to their address for a party. They went there only to find it was a ruse, no girls and no party. BUT they saw a very distressed cat of the same description. They were so sorry for her they tried catching her but she kept running into the stormwater drain. I drove to the address and sure enough, it was her, but she was so upset she would not come to me. My g/ f and I returned in the morning with her toys and a bowl of food. We lifted the drain cover off (very very heavy) and my gf leaned down, bum in air, with rush hour traffic passing, and put the food in. The cat couldn't help herself and went for it, and was grabbed and put into the car with the food. So, it turned out fine. She got lost again, but that is another story :) We both wish you luck but would say most list cat stories do not end up so well. <hugs >
