Albino house cats- the scoop?
I just read a question requesting albino cats. But answers say that there is no such thing as an albino cat. What? There must be, even though I have never seen one.
Can female house cats be ok not getting spayed?
we have a 1 year old male cat neutered. we got him a friend who is a 9 month old female. She must have went into heat shortly after for the first time and was making lots of noise making it hard to sleep. She did it for about a week straight. She rubs her butt in his face and our poor oscar doesn't want to mate with her. My question is this. it's been over a month since she was whining and waking us up. Is it possible she can still be happy and a good cat? or do we have to spay her? She doesn't do anything wrong. He is better at not spilling kitty litter when we steps out of the box and he never uses his claws on peeps. Neither does she but she likes to use her claws to jump around like a monkey all the time.
What are some stray cats names (10 to 15), loners names (about 5), house cats names (6 or 7)?
I'm writing a story, but I suck at names. I tried looking some up on the internet I couldn't find any good names. Please help me BTW, this isn't a story about Warriors by Erin Hunter, so please don't send me any Clan names.
Do older house cats travel well?
We have a beautiful black house cat that I am considering taking on the road with me. I drive a car over 100,000 miles every year and I want the cat to go with me. On a few short trips, I've taken her, but she's hidden behind the seats until I stop and pull her out. Anyone know how likely it is that she becomes comfortable enough to come out and sit on the seat with me? Even better, sit in the back window while I'm rolling down the road? Any help is greatly appreciated

Can tapeworms from an adopted stray cat infect my house cats?
I adopted a stray kitten 7 mos old from the humane society last week. They called me a few days later, and said I have to bring her back in because she was mistakenly not spayed. I brought her in this morning for the spay. Tonight when I picked her up from the clinic they told me that she has tapeworm. They said they gave her medicine to kill the tapeworms. But my question is about the health of my two house cats. Despite my best attempts, the cats all ate from the same dry cat food plate, and used the same litter boxes I have three boxes, and the stray used all three . Of course I will do some research on my own, but was hoping to gain insight from the community here. I picked up the kitten tonight and she is back home again . Thank you.
Aggresive house cats beating on other house cats?
My mother has 6 cats in her home. 3 are siblings. They have always gotten along but lately the siblings a female and a male the other female is very sweet and is not a problem have started beating up the other cats. One of the cats even lost an eye because of this. They have all been together for over a year and there has never been a problem before. They are all neutered or spayed. My poor mother lost her husband, my father, in June 2 months short of their 47th anniversary, and she just can't take much more heartache. She woke up the other day to find Sophia the cat with 1 eye dead. She doesn't know how. I would hate to think the siblings had anything to do with it, but they have gotten so mean. She loves them all so much and doesn't want to part with any of them, she has already lost too much. But surley something can be done????? Thank you so much in advance for any help you can provide.
How long does the average house cat live?
My cats are both about 6.5 years old. Neutered. Never ill. Well fed. We don't let them out because there's 2 busy roads right near our houses and cats and dogs are often hit, they survive more often than not but 2 or 3 times a year you see a dead dog or cat ' . It's ok though because we have a spare room in the house which we've kind of let them take over so it's not like they have limited space or anything. They seem happy, except for when Mr. Spray bottle pays a visit when they try to get into wardrobes 3 How long does the average house cat live and should mine live long if we keep taking care of them the way we do?
Places that temporarily houses cats?
An extremely close friend of mine is in a very tight situation right now about her two cats. She is having to move into a place that won't allow cats, and none of her family or friends can foster the cats until things get worked out. I would more than love to help out, but I'm still living with my mother who is against fostering any cats.Is there any place, forums, or websites that can help us find a foster home, or even an organization that willingly houses cats for long periods of time? Any leads on places these two kitties can go would be very much appreciated.

Or on a separate note could a house cat kill you if it bit or scratched you in the jugular or other region? more directed towards elderly since their skin is saggy and soft, but anyone too I do not want to know about diseases because that is obvious. I want to know if a cat was pissed enough and was next to your neck could it kill you? My neighbor was attacked on the arm by her cat for no reason and it left 4 large puncture wounds.

How can I catch my escaped house-cat?
We have gone outside many many times at night calling her name for hours.. we've walked around with spot lights. We saw her twice, close to the house, and she went away running. She's always been inside and has been outside for about a week now. We've set up humane traps, but she is simply too smart for them. We've also passed out MANY flyers about her. Please help with any tips you can.. we are so lost without her.we also live near the woods, so putting out food or leaving the door open are not good options. other wild cats would come in eat the food
