Help breeding siamese or himalayan cats?
i wanted to start breeding cats either siamese or himalayan how would i do this just get simese and put them together and advise please never done it before so dont really have a cluei don't have a breeder i just need advise on how to go about doing this

He's gotten all his shots, but he's been licking his back and I think he's been nibbling it too Putting his face in it, I don't know what he's doing and today, his back is a bit wet, and it has red on it, and he's been meowing a lot. He also meows when anyone but himself touches it. Should I just leave him alone to deal with it himself? He doesn't seem to want anyone touching him at the moment.Perhaps it's a rash? I don't know.Specifically, the " rash" is at the bottom of his back, right above his tail.Also, IF I can't take him to a vet, is there any other choice?I also leave him in a large room all to himself, it has a very large bed, his water and food bowl and all the stuff he needs. It also has a window so he can have heat because I hear cats love heat, and I cover it with a curtain when it seems I need to.Also, yes, I change his food. He has 3 different types of food, and 2 bags of treats that I give him a bit of once per day.Everything is fine, the only problem is this red stuff..
How to make my himalayan cat fatter?
I have a Himalayan cat of about 5 years old, and he is extremely skinny. He always has his dry food down for him to eat, and I hand feed him treats everyday. The reason I think he is skinny is because he finds it hard to eat bacause he is flat faced. could i please get some suggestions on what to do to make him fatter ? Thanks
My himalayan cat has gotten a lot happier lately, but why?
My himalayan cat is litter trained, but he randomly started pooping outside of his litter box. After he did this, we put him in a single room in a house. After we did this, he's starting to purr much more, become much kinder, he cuddles and does all that cute stuff.I don't get it, before he used to ignore us and give us attitude, but not anymore. Is this a way of him asking us to let him out, or is he just not spoiled anymore? He's 7 years old by the way I used to have a rabbit that was free for 2 years, no cage or anything and she was the biggest bitch, always biting and scratching, perhaps it was because she was spoiled?
My himalayan cat passed away 2 months ago suddenly we also had gotten a rag doll from a breeder and the kitten?
ended up being sick, it had diarrhea when she gave me the kitten and the breeder gave me a bottle of albon stating sometimes when you give revolution they can give the kitten a little diarrhea, well to make a long story short the kitten had giardia, we gave the kitten back she did pay the vet bill which came to 1,000 dollars, the himalayan did not have diarrhea but was prone to getting cystitis, but this time she did not make it, well I have one cat left a Maine Coon mixed and now that there are no other cats here he seems so depressed, we had him checked out to make sure he did not have giardia and it came back neg but the vet put him on flagyl anyway and he finished it on Saturday, he had blood work done too and it also came back normal, but he is just not himself he looks lost and I don't know what to do it's like he's mad at me also has this ever happened to anybody else. We are planning to get another kitten but not until October, we were going to get another rraggadoll, but she told me the vet said the kitten has a benign heart murmur, it's a different breeder and my vet said not to take it that we have gone through enough with the other cat, it broke my heart too. Any suggestions.
Adopted a 2 year old himalayan cat?
and we've had her for 3 weeks, she hides all day and she only comes out at night when everyone i asleep. And she uses my bed and my children's bed as a litter box She will not use the litter box AT ALL please anyone advice?Im worried for her she rarely eats and Also if this helps I adopted her from a family because they were leaving state

My himalayan has never gotten use to our new kitten. She hisses and growls at him whenever he is close to her. She was the youngest cat out of our three until we got the new kitten. Is she jealous or what?

Is it okay if I take my Himalayan cat to get his hair trimmed every now and then?
I'm getting a himalayan kitten soon and I was wondering, when he's older, i don't want to give him the " lion cut" or anything but i would like to take him to the groomer to get his hair trimmed once in a while. would that be okay?also what are some tips on shedding?yes i know they are a lot of work, but honestly from what i've been reading i dont' think it would kill him if I took him get his hair trimmed, i'm not planning on cutting it but it seems like a lot of people trim their cats anyways. and i do want a long haired once which is why i'm getting one i understand your giving me advice but you should probably just stick just answering my question not going on and on about how im not gonna be a good owner cause i wanna trim his hair in the summer.
Common deaths in Himalayan cats? Please!!! Need vets!!!!!?
My Himalayan recently passed away at a young age and he was perfectly healthy and we didn't here anything at all then we just found him laying on the floor not breathing. We have had this breed before and it had happened before. Also, our friend had this breed and her cat died at 3 years old.So, i am asking what are the common deaths of Himalayan cats??I need professional answers please? if there is any vets out there that would help so much We got him neutered and we know all about eating healthy and keeping him healthy. He was a healthy little guy.
