Question: Funny cat poop, any help?

A week ago i got two new cats. they were eating wet cat food. eventually, they started getting soft poop. first one of them made a poop that was normal except for the fact that it was gooey on the surface. the next day both the cats started having very gooey poop. it was light brown. my mom phoned the vet and he said we should switch the cats onto dry food. we did that and it did seem to improve the problem a bit. anyways. i noticed that on their cat beds where they must have sat in their butts, there is a tiny spot of poop. it looks light brown, with mustard- colored "micro- beads "(there is no other way to describe it). now their poop appears to be kind of thicker than mustard, and is mustard colored/ light brown. i have to clean out the cat litter 2/ 3 times a day or else they do not pee in it. i do not know what i'm doing wrong. i give them clean water and fresh food every day. their cat poop was normal when i first got them. they are 3 and a half months old now |
