Why do cats purr? Do all felines purr, or just domestic cats?
A few weeks ago I asked " How do cats purr" And got a really good answer, but now I am wondering Why?
In Florida, are Savannah cats classified under Servals, or domestic cats?
I can't find anything against owning a Savannah, unless they are counted under Servals. I know you need a license to own a Serval, but what about a Savannah? I just want to know if I need to get a license for a Savannah before I make any further plans to buy one.
I may be getting a stray cat that has lived on its own for as far as i know 1 yr, is it still a domestic cat?
This lady has been taking care of this 5 yr old kitty for a year now and shes trying to find a home for it. Its declawed, spayed, has all its shots, etc so we know it was at one point a house cat. I'm told its very affecionate and purrs to random people in the parking lot and roles over and begs to be petted like she does to a hairdresser in my hair salon .So basicly my questioin is, is it still a domestic cat? Only for general knowledge purposes. My opinion is the Siamese cat, but apparently there is argued that there is some Argentinian domestic cat breed that is more dangerous.& that obviously excludes cats that you normally need a license to own like a Cheetah, a lion, etc. lol.

hello, I have a 15 pound Ragdoll Siamese mix male cat. He is way too big to be indoors so we want to send him outside. So I am wondering if he will be able to jump our 6 foot wooden fence. he is a very lazy cat, very wobbly. you think he will be able to jump that high and be able to hang on?tmc you obviously have no problem with cat litter and cat poop all over your bed and furniture. and also, arent cat happier living outside. being inside 24 7 is freakin depressing.
