Im trying to figure out if maine coon cats are the only cats that have an " M" on thier forehead. I have a cat with an " M" on his head but I he's not a maine coon. Or at least I dont think that he is. He was a stray when I found him as a kitten. Please help or tell me when to go to get the answer.

im getting a maine coon cat tomorrow, i want to know from experience ... do they like to stay indoors because my other cat got hit by a car r.i.p tucker < 3 he was 3yrs old and i dont want this happeening to the maine coon i would like to keepher indoors how do they react to that. And do Female maine coons get big or stay small, bc tucker was a male mainecoon and he was relle tiny.

Maine coon cat behavior question?
I know this is odd but I take my cat out for a daily walk. No leash or anything, I just stay in the area so Fischer cats and foxes don't eat him. We stay out for 20 30 minutes where he chases moths, frogs and play predator. When the walk is over , my determination I pick him up and we go inside. Lately, when I go to pick him up he hisses, spits, and swipes at me. I have to get the boss wife out in the yard to pick him up and bring him in. Once inside he is all friendly again, yet outside, he'd prefer to kill me?

My lil cuzo is moved in with me & she wants a cat, but no cats gonna live in my house without it being pretty massive. So what are the largest domesticated cats, i heard they were maine coons?I don't like cats but i guess i could learn to love it for my cousin haha. & i heard that maine coons have dog like personalities, which is good for me cuz i love dogs.But i know of someone who had a 10 month old female maine coon & she was tha size of a normal house cat, so do ALL maine coons grow to be about 30 pounds? If not then i dont want one cuz i dont even like lil dogs, so i especially dont want a lil cat.additional information would be appreciated thankss but then again it would differ upon the breed of animal because some dog breeds are smarter than others, as im sure its the same with cats. i wrote that additional note on the wrong question haha

I am pretty sure he is, the vet told us he is and he looks just like one. He also has the distinct Maine Coon " chirp" . Found him abandoned outside 7 years ago, put signs up but no one claimed him. He is also quite large for a cat, probably 17ish pounds. He actually has very long ear tuffs but the exposure is very bright in the photos making the disappear. And his muzzle is quite large and round compared to other cats. How would you explain his large flat feet, chirping meow, and large stature? coincident? I don't think so.
