Are there cat trees for HUGE cats?
I have 3 cats, 2 are normal sized, and 1 that is 38 lbs he isnt horribly overweight, he is just big in general, I am looking to buy a cat tree that he will be able to use, one that he can fit in the cubbies and big enough for him to lay on and climb on. I dont want to spend more than $170, I have been looking online but all the ones I have found are geared more for normal sized cats, I really want to have a cat tree that they all can use not just the 2 smaller ones. Help me spoil my big baby any suggestions???
Do cats like cat condos and cat trees?
We were thinking about getting our cat one of those cat condo tree climbing things that they can also rest in and I was wondering if it would be worth the money. My cat naps in the afternoon and then kinda does whatever he wants. Does it just depend on the cat whether he will use it or not?thanks in advance to answering

My sister recently got a kitten, and I think he would absolutely love it. However, cat trees as far as I've seen anyway are expensive. I was thinking though, my sister wants homemade gifts for Christmas this year, so I was wondering if I could make her something and also make the kitten a cat tree. Is it possible to make them? Would a persian(himalayans/exotics) appreciate a cat tree?
I read that these breeds don't really climb and like to be on the ground. Does your persian himalayan exotic like to climb or sit up in high places? or more mid level?Breed owners do you have cat trees? and does your cat s use it? If you do have a cat tree and they use it how tall is it?I hear these breeds don't really climb. I wouldn't want to invest in a nice tall cat tree and my kitten wouldn't make use of it.
Where can I get a good, inexpensive cat tree?
I have two cats that I love dearly and I want them to have something great to play and scratch on. The cat tree needs to be extra sturdy because one of my cats weighs 23 pounds. I'd like it to be at least 5 feet tall, covered with carpet, and have at least one box to hide in. I would like to pay less than $200 if possible.

You know how all cat trees condos come with scratching posts as the stands. Is it enough to use those scratching posts that come with a cat tree as your cats main scratching posts or would they need a stand alone scratching post like the purrrfect post or the smartcat ultimate scratching post.

I am using this design pandecats.com x building a cat tree.shtml But I don't have any carpet to use... Can you use a different type of fabric... or can you just use the design with bare wood and sisal rope? If you've bought a cat tree, did your cat like it?
I have an active indoor cat 1 year old and I play a lot of games with him like throwing ping pong balls up the stairs. I've seen some impressive cat trees online that look like a fun way for him to get exercize, but I'm envisaging this scenario where I spend a ton of money on one, bring it home, he takes one look at it and starts playing with a scrap of paper instead. Are they worth it, in your experience?
