Cat wont use cat tree?
I adopted a cat a few weeks ago. white British short hair mix, 1 year old. i raw feed her and give her Wellness dry food and cans. she has been in 2 shelters previously before i got her, the owner before me brought her back to the shelter because she is not a normal cat. she is very shy and finicky. she is not aggressive, but runs away easily. she mainly stays under my bed. but she now walks around my room when i'm there and she eats in front of me. she lets me pet her and i play with her several times a day for about 10 minute sessions each. i made my room to be as suited for a cat as possible, becasue she is very afraid to leave my room. i bought an Amarakat tree, an 8 foot one. i have put treats on the tree and she still wont climb it. i have put her on several levels of the tree and she jumps down. she does however, like a small cat cube i have on the floor. how can i get her to use the tree?oh, also, she does use the scratching post on the tree but doesn't play with the toys i put on the tree or lay in the cat condos on the tree. do the condos remind her of another cage or something?my other indoor outdoor cat doesn't like the tree either....and the two cats do not interact and mostly ignore each other. probably because my white cat lives mostly under my bed.

Best cat tree for fat clumsy cat?
I want to get a cat tree for my two 15 year old cats. However, one is rather fat 14 lbs, down from 16 since I've been working with her and she has a bit of arthritis, which makes her clumsy. I'd hate her to fall off when she tries to reach out and smack the puppy or something. Oh, bonus points if my 5 pound puppy can't get in it lolI'm not trying to go super cheap, but I do have a budget and also need to buy other things like pet stairs for my bed, orthopedic beds for the cats, puppy, AND ferret , different supplements for each oth them...just all kinds of stuff lol long story short reasonably priced is good

We were thinking about getting our cat one of those cat condo tree climbing things that they can also rest in and I was wondering if it would be worth the money. My cat naps in the afternoon and then kinda does whatever he wants. Does it just depend on the cat whether he will use it or not?thanks in advance to answering

How to find the right cat tree for my larger cat?
I have a fourteen pound cat that is a tad overweight and I want to get him a cat tree to get more exercise. I need one that he'll use obviously, that is stable and not wobbly, that is big enough for him and is at or below 8 feet. If anyone knows of any cat trees that are good quality it would be greatly appreciated. They're just so expensive I need to get the right one.

I watched an episode of My Cat From Hell and this couple got their cat a cat tree that looked like an actual tree. It had leaves and a hollow trunk for the cat to climb. It was amazing. I looked at some sites but could not find anything that really matched. It looks pricey as the dickens but it doesn't hurt to look.
If you've bought a cat tree, did your cat like it?
I have an active indoor cat 1 year old and I play a lot of games with him like throwing ping pong balls up the stairs. I've seen some impressive cat trees online that look like a fun way for him to get exercize, but I'm envisaging this scenario where I spend a ton of money on one, bring it home, he takes one look at it and starts playing with a scrap of paper instead. Are they worth it, in your experience?
