Please help, cat symptoms...?
i'm taking my cat to the vet tomorrow, but would like an idea if possible of what it might be.Two nights ago, first noticed " droopy" eyes. Kind of blinking alot, but no discharge. Two days ago, she stopped eating and drinking. Now, she only sleeps and eats little bits of food out of my hand tuna . She walks really stiffly and fell over when she tried to jump on the chair. Has a fever, but no sneezing or runny nose. Very small intermitent eye discharge. I'm so sad and I can't pay the vet much. Does anyone have any idea what this could be?thank you....please email me if u need more info.

Weird cat symptoms! help! throw up, wheezing, agression..?
My cat is 2 years old ill start to say, he appeared to be normal all day and just a second a go I walked up to pet him and he started meowing in discomfort even after I stopped petting him. He threw up a few seconds after and I thought maybe he just needed to throwup but then a few seconds later he was like... wheezing. What kind of sounded to be a mix of a cough and sneeze. Ok maybe he just has allergies in the change of season or a cold. But then he hid under my bed and when I tryed to get him out he angry meowed and hissed when I tryed to lure him out. Kind of scared, give me something to reassure me. I obviously can't get him to a vet now at 11. Nor do I want to pay 300$ to find out he just didn't feel well. Real help needed.
Are these pregnant cat symptoms?
I seriously think my cat is pregnant. She has a firm stomach, she is scheduled to have the kittens on xmas. One thing I don't get is that she is in heat in the last couple of weeks, am I confusing heat with the " quickening stage" ? One of my family members works for the ASPCA and says cats can get into heat at all periods of times. I don't know, I just need to know the difference.
Mystery cat symptoms?
A good friend's cat was taken to the emergency vet, because he seemed comatose and couldn't get up. After spending the night in the hospital, and many tests later, they can find no physical cause for his symptoms. The cat has been home for a few days and is still very lethargic and has balance issues to the point of almost falling over. He is grooming, eating and drinking and also using his litter box. What could this be?

Cat Symptom?
My male cat has been sick for two days. The symptoms are sudden fever, his fur is all stands up like whenever cats in distress . His eyes are yellowish and his saliva keeps dripping and smelly.I'm going to the vet soon...but what seems to be the problem with him?Please help..thank you.ty for the response. the vet said he has jaundice, even though he just got it, the symptoms shown are like he has it for more than two weeks. he has been hospitalized and dripped starting today . will he be okay being dripped with only saline water? how about food..what kind of food is good to feed him solid liquid ? .

Could you tell me how identify that situation?Thank you all.Cat is not dehydrated and a vet is taking care of her,she's just with diarhea and at this moment we started a new antibiotic I was afraid of, but he wants .. She's eating and drinking normally,and was tested negative for worms. I was just asking for knowing, its good to know since as someone said vets on weekends are more expensive and hard to find then I better know when there's urge to rush her
Mouth and teeth problems in cats-symptoms?
Has anyone had issues with mouth or teeth problems in their cat, what symptoms did they have and what did the vet do for them?My cat is drooling, shaking his head and licking his lips and eating very carefully. The vet could not find anything wrong in exam and lab work.
Cat symptoms, vet seemed to ignore them?
Stupid locum vet just didn t seem interested. He gave my cat a really brief physical check over, didn t even look at his teeth. He weighed him and he s lost 1.3kg 2.2lb since July last year. He just shrugged it off and said it wasn t significant weight loss, then he took his temp which was low and his heart rate which was high, and shrugged those off too. The heart rate wasn t that high so it could have been anxiety but he just didn t seem interested in being sure, it was like he was making excuses not to have to investigate further. I told him he has increased hunger and thirst and he said well you ve got two cats so you don t really know how much he drinks, um excuse me but his water bowl is in the kitchen and he often drinks in front of me, so yes I do know how much he drinks. He said well he doesn t look like a thyroid cat how can you possibly tell that by looking at him?? He said well he got the all clear in the blood tests he had last year that was over a year ago, and he didn t have a urine sample taken then so it didn t really check kidneys. Then to top it off he found 2 fleas on him he stood there looking at me like I was a naughty child. I started to explain that he d been pulling his fur out so I d eased up on the flea stuff because it had made him lose fur in the past. He just didn t seem to hear me he said well no wonder he s pulling fur out if he has fleas. I said no it s the other way around, he was pulling his hair out first. He said you don t know that and this could be why he's losing weight, if he's worried about the itching. OMG I wasn t even there for the fur loss I put him on a new diet and it grew back and he started blaming everything on 2 fleas. I ended up paying $53 for pretty much nothing, then I brought him home and he went straight to the water bowl.I feel upset that there could be something wrong thyroid? and I should ve been more assertive but i don t know what to ask for. Maybe it is just normal ageing he's 15 but this vet certainly didn t reassure me at all. It's so stressful to take my cat to the vet because we both get upset, now I feel like I have to do it all over again.My question finally is should I go back there and complain and ask to see someone else free of charge, or should I just go somewhere else, or am I overreacting altogether?Thank you so much everyone, you've all made me feel much better. I just looked for a vet who does the senior health checks and there's one not far from where I live, so I'll book him in there next week. I feel better just knowing that vet was not up to scratch if he was he'd know that a senior cat needs health checks at least once a year. Now I know that I won't go back there.
