Real help needed! question on cat constipation and others related! cat spraying?
I'm really torn here...OK so I believe my cat is constipated.Its been over 24 hours, and he sits on the literbox from 15 30 minutes and nothing probably every hour. He also meows if you push on certain spots of his stomach which for him is abnormal. Now after a while it seems he's trying to go everywhere he stands but nothing. Now here's the thing He's peeing everywhere I don't know if he's just pushing and accidently peeing or if ironically he is starting to spray the day he is constipated. I can't tell But its alot of pee and in large amounts usually. He is not dehydrated and is eating. I want to take him to the vet tomorrow but you know the vet charges you just to walk into the door led alone any check ups or treatment. I don't know what to do I'm not aloud to keep a cat who sprays He's only 2 years old and got neutered at 8 months What to do about the constipation ? ?

Male neutered cat spraying? Other stress related problems?
I have a siamese male cat. He is 10 years old and neutered. I don't recall how long he has been spraying. Not his whole life.. just the past maybe 5 years. He has a tendency to throw up no matter how much we feed him and how many different foods we try. He urinates indoors. We have one other cat.. a spayed female and a small Pomeranian occasionally. Our cat has nearly been killed. our last dog shook him and opened his stomach i stopped it personally 3.. Akita s r terrible > .< . He underwent surgery and we had him stitched up. It was terrible.. leaked puss threw a tube and everything. He also pulls out his hair.... he is thrown out of the house often by older family members in my house. He beats up our other cat. Is there anyway to help him food wise.. Stress wise...I can't be here all the time to stop how he is treated as a pest in this house.. or is there a way to stop the spraying?He seems to get a crazed look in his eye occasionally to.. then he starts to look around and seem twitchy and he almost stumbles like hes unbalanced... It looked like he's really not all there...like he got hit in the head.. he's only done this the past 2 years or so. wth is up with that? i really wanna know what i can do for him.. besides being aggressive occassionally and having these unhealthy habits he really is a sweety and love pets and sleeping with us and laying with us when we watch a movie.

Why is my female cat spraying in our bed?
Me and my partner have just moved into a shared house where two cats 1 male, 1 female already live. The last two nights we have woken up to find our bed sheets soaked and smelling awful I realize she is probably trying to 'mark her property' but how on earth do we stop her from doing this? I don't think the other two cats would ever come into our bedroom she's scared them off. Also, we have been shutting the bedroom door at night to stop her from fighting with the other cats would leaving it open for her to move around the house stop her from spraying weeing on the bed?Please help, we can't keep washing our sheets every day

Why is male cat spraying all over house and crying?
my daughters bought a kitten each both males both unuetered they are now 8 months old and one of them has started spraying al over the house and crying and moaning at night all night. my daughter who is supposed to be looking after this kitten and who has spoiled him from the start and treated him like a baby eg. sleeping on her bed, given loads of attention but now she has met a fella and stays at his every nite and most of the day she is hardly home. we are all trying our best to make up for the fact she is not there, could this have something to do with his behaviour or is it just coincindence and he just needs to be neurtered . please help i cant sleep at night because his crying upsets me and i can not console him. Why is my cat spraying more than usual and moaning/howling?
I recently adopted a stray cat. He's an outdoor cat because my parents did not allow me to bring him indoors. He doesn't have his shots yet and I still haven't gotten him fix because I still need money to cover all of this....I'm saving...I'm almost there. However, I think that those savings are about to be used to pay the vet a visit tomorrow because my cat is spraying everywhere, more than usual, and moaning howling. He howls while walking, when he's done eating or when he wants to relieve himself. I have done some research and I think he might have a UTI. I've followed him to see if he poops or pees but I haven't seen anything come out. Only very little pee, which looked more like he was just spraying. Maybe he's constipated. Or since he's not neutered do you think he's looking for a mate?He doesn't howl all the time only certain times, especially during the day. I'm taking him to the vet to rule out the UTI, which I know can be fatal in male cats. If nothing is wrong I'm getting him fixed asap. My cat is eating and acting normal. Nothing odd besides the howling and spraying and what seems to me, difficulty to pee or poop.

I have 2 cats both spayed neutered and have had them for almost 3 years. The female, Emily, has begun spraying on my bed, my children's toys furniture, defecating in the bathroom, and just being really nasty. I caught her pooping in towels and urinating in the laundry pile too. She has never done this before and the other cat he never has issues like this. Nothing has changed in terms of food, location, it is all the same. She isn't ill. What could be causing this problem? Is she just angry at me?She sprayed my bed today, which is also her bed. She sleeps with me all night alongside my daughter and I in bed.

Caught one cat spraying, should I get rid of one of my cats?
I have two cats, brothers, who are very cuddly and affectionate with one another. They are 2 and a half years old. I caught one of them spraying yesterday. I've read what to do to help with the spraying but I've read enough and talked to enough people to know that the spraying rarely stops all together. Is there any chance that if we rehome one of the cats, that the other won't spray? So far, we only know FOR SURE that one of them is spraying. The other one might not be spraying at all. Would the one who has sprayed stop spraying if we rehome his brother? Or is it likely he will continue to?They were both neutered at 5 months of age. I knew about spraying back then and was anxious to get them fixed as soon as the vet allowed me to. So this is very surprising that my baby has started to do this horrible thing.

Why does my Female Cat spray?
i have 5 cats total 3 fixed males, and 2 unspayed females . i have had the 4 cats 2 male, 2 female for almost 3 years, and the last male for almost 2. one of the females has almost always sprayed, but stopped for about 6 months. she just started up again for no good reason. i keep their litter box clean all throughout the day, and there should be no reason that she does this. i know i need to get her spayed, but haven't had the money yet. is there something that i could do to stop this? thank you

I have two unaltered female kittens ages 5 months and 3 months , I once read that a female cat can spray once they reach sexual maturity. Is that true?I don't spay because I don't believe in spaying indoor pets. To me, it is as if someone came up and said you have to be altered because you are too stupid to have kids. That is exactly why I got two female kittens. My kittens have their shots, visit the vet regularly, are properly cared for and if they do go outside, it s only on the closed in patio. I'm being a responsible pet owner according to my vet and my therapist.Some say because my views are different from most I need therapy. My therapist was the one who suggested that I get a cat or two to help me cope with my depression of not being able to have kids of my own. So my pets ARE my children and I treat them as such. My therapist and my husband agree with me. So, before you decide to accuse someone of being irresponsible, lazy, ECT, please take the time to think that there may be a reason behind every story.

my cat is spraying on walls and carpet and we just had wood floors put in 7000$ and my dad wants to get rid of her because she usually pees and poos on the area we got wood installed on she is not a kitten so what can we do we need help now we have tried training her too.my cats already spayed and we havent tryed giving stress medication but ik shes stressed

Will my cat spray if I bring a new kitten home?
We're getting a new kitten in about two weeks, and the closer it gets the more I nervous I get because I have a 10 year old male tabby cat, and I'm not sure how he will act. We had a male cat but he passed away about a month ago. I'm scared that if I bring in a female kitten he's going to spray. He was neutered at 12 weeks, and has never sprayed before. Do you think that if I bring in the new kitten he will spray? I know there really isn't an answer because cats are unpredictable, but I'm just wondering what other people will think.
