Why is my cat sneezing so much? Is she sick? Or is it the environment(just cleaned the basement)?
I just recently moved my room from upstairs to the basement which my 17 lb 9 11 yr old cat loved since this brought me to her level food and litterbox are downstairs . When we cleaned out my new room there was a bunch of boxes and mold which we cleaned up with bleach and water and scrubbed to death. We then moved in all my furniture along with moving all the boxes to a different part of the basement the non moldy ones of course . She recently started having sneezing fits and slightly wheezing after sneezing sometimes. My mom had issues like such immediately after moving due to the airborn stuff and I've been sleeping down there and haven't gotten a cold yet. My mom got over it once we finished cleaning though. But Althea my cat hasn't and I don't know if it's her age and her nose sensitivity or if she's caught something. She's the only cat we have, indoor and we feed her daily and give her fresh water and keep her litterbox clean. In the past she's had fits of rebellion over certain litter non clump in the past month where she peed outside and we think it was the litter brand. We changed it to clumping and she hasn't peed or pooped outside the box yet. I make sure to vaccuum down there every now and then and keep a fan going at night to help me sleep white noise . I'm just worried this is something more severe than allergies, or even a cold? Any tips or comments?SORRY It's a long detailed one.. I just.. I'm worried. She's been in our lives for 7 years now.
Why is my 6-year old cat sneezing all of a sudden?
She had her teeth cleaned this week. Could she have picked something up in the vet hospital? I am hoping it is just an allergic reaction to something.She's current with all her shots.

It's night time and everyone's asleep so I'm a little paranoid. So I was laying in bed wathing tv and my cat was laying next to me. She left to go to my other cat and they both came in and one of them started sneezing repeatedly. I've never seen her do that before. I'm dumb, yes.

I have a four and a half year old calico that has recently started sneezing and sounding congested. She's due to have her FCVR vaccine update but hasn't had any health problems before this. She's eating and drinking normally but may be slightly lazier than usual. I say " may be" because I'm not sure if it's true or I'm just making it worse in my head because I'm worried. She's been more attached to me lately but she's done that in spurts at certain times throughout her life and never because she was sick. I also have a 10 month old domestic medium hair that just today sneezed a few times. She needs all her shots. Should I be worried that this is an upper respiratory infection or do cats have allergies? Will it go away by itself or do i need to go to the vet? I don't have a lot of extra money to spend at the moment but I will do what's necessary. And lastly, is this life threatening?
Cats Sneezing from Extermination. What can I do.?
A month ago My house was bombed by an exterminator. We kept our 3 cats out of the house for the whole day. About a week ago they started sneezing constantly. I took them to the vet and he said it was not an upper respiratory infection. That it was probably caused by the chemicals. My question is what can we do to help them. They don't look or act sick they just sneeze a lot and it feels awful to se them go through this. Is there a nasal spray that I can give them to clean their nostrils? The Vet didn't have any answers really. I guess that's what I get for going to an inexpensive vet.

Cat sneezing a lot and seems sleepy?
my girl Trinny is the middle of 3 older cats at 11indoor and in the yard cats, recently been sneezing a lot and sprays it when she does but no nasal green discharge. She has had upper resp problems when she was 1 2 years old but I haven't seen it since. I remember the vet at the time saying that she was more susceptible to it but haven't seen anything till now. still eating and drinking so I don't think I need to head to the vets or should I ????
Cat sneezing blood???????
My cats were all sick. All indoor but all got colds most likely from this frigid winter weather causing a draft in certain parts of the house and cold floors. One was sick with sneezing and then the others caught it. Three are all fine now, however, one is still sick. He is sneezing blood and has watery eyes with discharge. He is sleeping a lot, not hiding, and will eat when I put out food. He has been this way for about four days now. He is not getting worse but not better yet. I don't want to take him out in this cold weather and pay a vet a lot of money for them to tell me it is just a cold and to let him get better on his own. If there is anyone who works with animals or has experienced this... does this seem serious enough for a vet to help him? Does this seem like a condition that the vet would take seriously and maybe offer him some kind of antibiotic or something?
Cats sneezing and drooling.?
I have 2 cats male an Female about 6 years old. About a week ago, male threw up couple of times a day for 3 days. But seemed to feel ok. Then he started sneezing several times a day. Did that for a few days. Now seems fine. Now female is sneezing and drooling excessively. Male did not drool like this. Anyone have a guess on how serious this may be? Sounds like a cold but the drooling is new to me. Don't think she has any mouth issues.
3 cats sneezing/runny-stuffed nose/coughing for few days. Suggestions for @ home relief?
I have 3 cats, all have been sneezing for a few days. 1 has runny stuffed nose, other has sneeze cough gag sort of thing, the last is a bit more tired and has watery red eyes and a very stuffed, runny nose and has a very hard time breathing. There is no emergency vet near me, so I was wondering if there is anything I can give home to relieve the symptoms until I can get them to the vet? P.S. Absolutely NO help from any online vet been waiting for an answer for 2 days now.I really don't want to sound too rude, but I've seen some of the ridiculous answers people put that have nothing to do with what is being asked so... Please don't waste my time if you don't have an actual, serious answer for me. These are my babies and I need a little help until the regular vet opens on Tues.
Is my cats sneezing something to worry about?
He's been sneezing quite a bit the last few days. But he only seems to sneeze when he grooms himself. There doesn't seem to be anything else different about him like mucus etc..
My cat sneezes occasionally - is this a virus or just sneezing?
My cat, 7 months, has sneezed occasionally, and had an occasionally runny nose, pretty much the entire 6 weeks I've had him. He will occasionally sneeze out mucous. Other than this, he is perfectly healthy he eats fine, no breathing problems sleeps with mouth closed, not nasally , and is playful and energetic on a predictable schedule. He was vet checked when I brought him home, and no issues were found. He did have a whole host of parasites when he was first rescued by SPCA from a hoarding situation as a baby , but was fully cleared 2 clean tests before I adopted him.Could he have a kitty virus, or can occasional sneezing be " normal" in cats?
