How much to charge for cat sitting?
Okay So a lady my mom works with wants me to possibly watch her cats for a week. She has two healthy cats I dont think they need medications. She possibly might want me to spend the night each night to every other night. I was wondering what I should charge I work at a very nice animal hospital and have been working as a nurse for the last 4 years and worked at an actual vet since I was 15 and I am 21 now. my neoghbors cat had a bacteria infection in its ears and needs ear drops twice a day. he also has a lot of hair loss on the tail and extreme shedding .. well I've been giving him the ear drops and behind his ears is balding ..badly. I wonder if he's having a reaction to the drops or if he's getting it everywhere. keep in mind he is not my cat so a vet trip isn't really an option.well I have contacted the owner.. they want to wait until they get back a week but I just worry. it sort of seems like the cat is getting some of the medicine on his paw, then rubbing it on its ear.. I just worry he's having a reaction to the medicine.also, the hairloss was occuring before the drops, just mainly on his tail

We were gone 9 days? I had her come in daily to scoop litter, make sure their water food bowl was filled up and feed our sickly cat with low iron, a scoop of wet food. She also put out our garbage can once and covered two of my plants from the frost.

HELP I was staying over at my uncle's house while my house was being remodeled, and he was in Disney World with his family. I wasn't really supposed to cat sit, just make sure he ate and got some sleep. So i went to bed. when i woke up to refill his food dish his food was full. I remembered my cousin saying he always ate a lot. So i got worried. So i went to search him. I couldn't find him anywhere I looked in the basement, under the beds, in the laundry room, all the rooms, and even in the food closet. There's this huge whole in the ceiling that the people before they moved in made so i thought he might be in there. i looked inside, and he wasn't there. Or i hope he wasn't. My cousins said that he runs a lot and he makes a lot of noise, so when i couldn't hear hi i got worried. I spent all day searching and couldn't find him. I doubt he ran away cus i haven't even opened the door window since i entered th house. Where should i look?The house is pretty big so it could be anywhere

Stray cat sits at my door after feeding him for a few days?
There is stray black cat that I had noticed around and noticed he wasn't to skiddish but wouldn't let me get close. I started putting out food for him and he was always close enough to watch me do it. As soon as I would come inside, he would run over to the bowl and eat the food. For about a week now I have fed him and was even able to pet him. I have a glass front door that I keep the blinds up about a food so my other cats can see out throughout the day. The stray cat has been sitting at my door just looking in and meowing when I move towards the door. I have been able to pick him up and bring him inside while locking my other cats in another room. Once inside he is so tame, he will roll around loves to be pet and will sit on your lap for a long time. He is curious about the door he came in and will go over to the door and meow. He got back out in the morning but has returned again tonight. This time not interested in the door and just wanted to be loved. Im considering taking him in but my concern is that he may always want to go back outside or attempt to sneak out and none of my other cats go outside and they are pretty much afraid to. I wouldn't want him giving the other cats any ideas so I would want to keep him indoors. Of course I will take him to the vet and will keep him in his own room for now but I'm looking for information on breaking his habit of wanting to go outside. Jungle Jones The cats we see today we're never breed to be outside. They were breed to catch rodents in doors and where domesticated. A cats curiosity to be outside doesn't mean its the best habitat for a cat to live in. Indoor cats live longer, healthier lives.
First time cat-sitting.?
I'm petsitting for a friend who has two cute kittens. My friend told me they have ADD, which explains their weird behaviour the two cats are constantly fight biting, scratching, you name it . It is really hard to control them, and my friend said that whenever they are scratching the walls I should clap and they will stop immediately. However, they aren't stopping, leaving me very confused because I have no experience with any animals at all. I'm expected to watch them for 9 days. Help is very appreciated. Any tips for newbies?
Why do my persian cats sit up like they are in a chair?

My cat frequently climbs on my computer desk and noticed that rather than him just standing anywhere on the vast space of the desk he will always go and sit on my thick study book lol I noticed cats in general do this a lot they will sit on the highest point of an area even if its only like an inch or something higher.
