How much should I pay my cat sitter?
I have two cats. I went away for 6 and a half days. I asked for the pet sitter to come twice a day, so there was a total of 13 visits. During each visit, I asked her to fill their drinking water and food. I also asked her to clean their litter box. She is a teenage girl in my neighborhood and she never had any experience with pet sitting. I searched on the internet and it says that with inexperienced teenage pet sitters, one should pay about $5 each visit. so that's about $65 total. I would like to know if that is too much or not enough. Any help is appreciated thanks

I used to babysit them and occasionally watch their pets 2 dogs,cat, rabbit, hamster, turtles, fish etc and charged them about 22 a day for the petsI have 3 cats and she has to clean litter boxes every two days, come twice a day, and bring in the mail.I was thinking of paying $ 15 a day, she is 13. so that seems pretty fair. im 21 and charge about 25 a day . is that enough? How to prepare a cat for a long stay with a cat sitter?
We are about to do a long distance move. We will be staying in a hotel for around 3 weeks while we look for housing in our new area my husband is in the military . As we could find no pet friendly hotels, our cat will be staying at a friend's house in the area.How can I make this 3 weeks the least stressful for our cat? Hi all cat sitters,I'm a cat sitter too but I have a question for you guys because this never happen to me before.Last saturday I received a last call from one of my clients and he told me that he forget to buy litter so I said don't worry,I can buy it for you and then you can pay me later,ok so when I get there on saturday I'd find the litter box empty,full with urine and feces,so I have to scrub all the box to remove all the all litter that was already like a rock glue to the box,so I have to scrubbed,washed and disintegrated all the box,and also the carped all around,plus I have to buy everything for her.And no just that,the cat's food bowl and water were empty and they are automatic bowls,so look like he was out of town for more than 1 day,so the thing is that I spend more that 1hr cleaning and doing all this stuff and my husband is really mad and he want me to charge him more than the basic cat sitting service because I spend more time and because I had to do something that I don't supposed to do,I'm suppose to clean or scoop the litter box,but no scrub and clean like crazy a empty box full with feces and urine an old litter.What do you think,Do you think that I should charge her more or not?This is the first time that one of my clients do this and I don't know what I should do ThanksNo no,when I get there to take care of them after she let me know the same day,she told me that she forgat to buy the litter,so I bought the litter all in the same day adn I when to do the cat sitting,but she never told me that the litter box was empty without litter.I find all this the day that I start doing the cat sitting,no after because I wouldn't never let the litter get empty,I care allot about all the cats and she is one of my olds clients so she feel free to let me know hrs before but she never told me that the box was empty and I have no idea for how long this cats were alone in that house without food,water or fresh litter.Also he didn't pay me yet and he doesn't aswer my calls or emails...This is the secont time that he do that.last time he pay me after 2 months that I cat sitt his kitties
