Does anyone know a cat rescue for my Deaf cat?
I have an all white, blue eyed beautiful 3 years old cat that is deaf. I live in Kentucky and can't find a place to take her that isn't a pound. I used to live in Cali and there were a lot of " no cage" rescues but I'm having trouble finding one local. Our dog picks on her too much and with my son running around I don't have the time to love her the way I should. Any suggestions or anyone interested in adopting her?
I am attempting to do a cat rescue out of my apt but the cats are not getting along. What can I do?
I have 4 four week old kittens, their mother 1 yr old , 3 two month old kittens, 2 four month old sisters, and a semi feral four month old male. They are ripping my apt to pieces. pooping on my furniture, attacking each other, stealing each others food, and turning the litter box into a play toy.I do not have any no kill shelters in my area.... The kittens are too young to be taken away from their mother... I have been trying to rehome all of them but no one is interested... Is there anywhere besides Craiglist.org that I can post them that people look at? It seems everyone only wants a free animal. No one wants to pay a rehoming fee but I am not going to just GIVE these babies away. I just got fired and now have no income to get food, litter,or anything else I need to get for them. PLEASE HELP
Do you find yourself looking at cat shelters and cat rescue sites every day...?
Even though I have three wonderful cats which I adore, I find myself looking at these sites everyday and always feel like getting one of them out of there even though I cannot afford to get another....I just find it really sad seeing all these cats without a good home with owners who would love them.......
Does anyone know of any no kill cat rescue groups in Johnson County Texas?

Does anyone know of any cat rescues that would take a pregnant cat?
I've been looking for places that will be willing to take in a pregnant cat. I recently adopted a stray cat a couple of weeks ago but I didn't realize till now that she was pregnant. I don't want to put her back outside because I don't want the kittens to get hurt or anything. I can't really have little kittens running around my house though. I want to make sure that they'll be taken care of. If anyone knows of any places in the Tampa area that will take her in pleaseeee let me know No, sorry. I live in Tampa, FL.
Do you think that cat rescues are often their own barrier to adoption?
I have worked closely with a local rescue. I have donated time, fostered and even worked adoptions. I found that the adoption form is 2pages tiny print. Asks things like about declawing etc.. truth be it, those adoptions are completely dependent on those questions. I also noted that I personally have assited on homing 9 cats in the past year.. however, when a gay person applied for adoption, the cats were never adopted out. I had a neighbor who contacted them to adopt a small black kitten... and they never called her back.. When I inquired about why? They felt the neighbor called intoxicated and didn't think this was a positive thing. although they adopted to her before.. years ago. I am disgruntled and annoyed and declined working with this organization any longer. I just feel that it's just their own barrier that is not allowing adoptions to happen quicker..
Is there a cat rescue group in fl?
I have a stray cat that i spayed and found out she is FIV and i need help finding a rescue group that would take her in and adopt her. My problem is that I move out my apartment on the 7th and if i could keep her for a little longer, I would. If I cant find a place for her that would take her in, I'm going to have to take her to the shelter where she would definitely put her down, because not only ids she FIV , but she is all black and an adult, so she would be harder to adopt. I am willing to drive anywhere as long as it is in FL. If anybody knows of places or friends that would definitely help me out. Thanks again.

Experienced with cat rescue? Help with a stray cat?
We found a stray near our house, she is very malnurished. We have had her two days now & she is doing a lot better, walking around, eating, & drinking a lot she is incredibly loveable. People around our neighborhood lose pets frequently so we've posted around & are trying to find her original owners. In the meantime with the holiday weekend we cannot reach the right vet rescue so if anyone could help offer some advice on it would be appreciated. My concerns are One, her weight. Got any good ideas for weak little malnurished mature cats? Any certain food to help her put on weight? Two, I found one single bug on her it looked like a fruit fly crawling through her fur. I've never seen anything like it I couldn't find anything else. I don't think she has fleas, but I've never seen fleas either. Are there any certain washes I could use on her when I'm not really sure what she has to remove whatever she might have?Any other suggestions on taking care of a stray, or finding her owners? Thanks

Advice on twitching cat (rescued)?
I recently found a starving abandoned cat. The poor thing was a bag of bones & so weak she had trouble getting herself up the stairs. She also had a collar so tight that the fur was missing from her neck which was also sore. I think she is about a year old & probably grew into the collar. I took her in & have managed to get the collar off & have been feeding her on small regular amounts of kitten food & Whiskas in jelly. She is now much stronger & is looking relatively healthy but she twitches a lot especially when stroked. When i first took her in she was shaking so much the twitching wasn't evident. She is a friendly & affectionate cat but understandably nervous. Could this be just nerves or a more serious medical problem? I will take her to a vet to get checked out but i want to get her as settled as possible before I do as I think a stressful vets visit is the last thing she needs. Does anyone have any advice on whether I should make the vets visit a priority over settling her down?Any other advice on cat rescue would be helpful, I have had cats before, just not a traumatized one.
