Confusing cat pregnancy symptoms?
This is the first time I'll be seeing my cat actually get pregnant and give birth so I really don't know what to expect and if these signs are normal. She's not spayed, and I'm happy with kittens because I have dozens of friends who asked for kittens so the kitten's homes are all fixed too. My problem is that the first three weeks of my cat's pregnancy was what I expected pinking milk ducts, friendly behavior, dislike in toms, preference to stay at home, and a slightly bulging tummy. Around the fourth fifth week, these signs seem to stop, her milk ducts just became pink, from rosy pink, and her tummy stopped increasing, it's her fifth week now so there's four more weeks. I'm really confused, I read an article that says a pregnant cat's stomach will grow to the size of the litter, so small litter means small tummy? The fur around her milk ducts are starting to give way, and she keeps licking her lady part every now and then. She's very affectionate and attention needy, but I don't want to carry her and snuggle her, I just pet her, I'm afraid my carrying and snuggling would lead to miscarriage and I don't want that. Is it normal for a pregnant cat to display these signs? From fast increase in tummy, to stable slow increase, from rosy pink milk ducts, to just bright pink milk ducts.

Advice on cat pregnancy?
I have a very important question where I am looking for answers from someone who does not make any $ on spaying neutering and who can give me a straight answer I have two Maine Coons 1 female, 1 male both are not spayed neutered. My male is 7 months and female 4 months, we do want kittens but all the vets seem to be saying that is is " dangerous" for our female to get pregnant whenever she is ready. My question really is why should it be dangerous when you consider animals in the wild reproduce without having anyone intervene whether they are ready or it is safe? Animals have not gone instinct because they all die giving birth. So really I want to know is it ok to leave both my coons do what they want and when my female is ready it will happen? why are all the vets telling us it has to be done or she could die etc? is this just a money gimmick? Thank you for your answers and please don't bash. We are responsible and will take care of our kittens.My cats ARE purebred Maine coons from a breeder in Massachusetts. They did not have them spayed neutered upon purchase. We have homes lined up as Coons are hard to come across where we are. I agree with the cat population issue, which are mostly domestic short long haired that are harder to find homes. I was asking for advice and obviously some did not read my question right I was NOT looking to be bashed or have stupid comments, just simple advice from someone that knows something on this subject. We are Maine coon lovers and it is very easy to tell the difference between a Maine coon and a long haired cat, you just have to know the breed. Considering my question, do we separate them until she is older? I want advice not rudeness.
Needed. week by week cat pregnancy guide?
i need to know what stage my cat is at in her pregnancy not being cheap but i dont want to pay 40 just for the vet to tell me i assumed she'd be due about now as she first started going outside on heat 9 weeks ago. her tummy is big and so are her nipples, shes randomly flopping on her side in places and stretching and rolling around and i started feeling slight movment in her tummy yesterday like a ticking tapping movement there was a tiny bit of liquid when i tried to test if she had milk yet, but that was only from one nipple and today i cant get anything. and she is still running around playing occasionaly just not as much. ive tried finding a website that shows you a week to week guide but none have been helpful. and btw she is being spayed after this litter x

Longest cat pregnancy ever?
My cat has been pregnant forever,when will she give birth??ive been reading up on the signs of labour and she doesnt seem to have any of them... we noticied she was pregnant 3 weeks ago and she got very big very fast...her nipples have droped and you can see the kittens moving and she is staying in more than usual but thats it weve made her a little nest and shes been in there a few times.shes not more loving..but she never really was before you have to know her to love her ha I am so shocked shes not had them yet,much longer will it possibly be?? x
Stray cat pregnancy? help?
I took in a stray cat august 31. I thought she might be pregnant because her bell was a little distended. But it wasn't obvious by looking at her. On September 2nd I took her to the vet to get her shots and what not and the vet confirmed she was pregnant but wasnt sure how far along. Over the next week she blew up She got completely round and has gotten bigger. We have had her about 20 days now and I can't imagine she is going to get any bigger. Is there any way to know guess the around when she'll deliver? Or does anyone with experience wanna take a guess? I know it's only a 60 day pregnancy so we are at the least a third of the way there. Also she has tape worm and cocidia and can't be treated until she is done nursing. Does this mean all of the kittens will have the same?

we fitted our catflap 8 9 weeks ago so shes been going out since then. when she first went out she was on heat. we want her to have 1 litter of kittens and then we are getting her spayed she has over the last 3 or 4 days got fat, her nipples have been huge and pink which was notice about 2 3 weeks ago. last night i looked at them and im pretty sure she has dry milk on them and licked her away around them. i havent seen her belly moving but it feels rock solid. shes also been eating double for the past 3 weeks and is now follwing me around all the time and licking her bum alot. how far gone do you think she is? sometimes i think shes about to give birth but then last night she was running around playing and i wonder if shes not as close as i think? i dont want to visit the vet and pay him ridiculous amounts of money 35 just to tell me she is pregnant and how far along, i know she is preg and im not fussed when she is due i just want to see if from your personal experience if you could give me a rough idea

Hi, my cat is 13 months old and is pregnant but im not sure how far along she is. I noticed her nipples in larging around 3 weeks ago. I saw and felt her kittens moving around alot 3 days ago but she isnt very big. You can easily see that she is pregnant but even so she is not that big. My cat is 9 weeks pregnant, last night I came home and she had bloody mucas coming out one signs of labor Well this morning I noticed there wasnt very much coming out anymore so I called the vet, he said not to worry and thats it... Well today her breathing has increased and she seems restless but she is eating and drinking....what do you think is going on?
