Why does my cat litter elsewhere?
He does use the cat litter, but sometimes he would litter in the bathtub, over the suitcase, next my old stuft animals and then drags them over the litter. It's really being annoying.
Question about pine pellets for cat litter?
I've been using pine pellets in this case, Equine Pine instead of litter for my 2 cats and it's great. I feel like i'm going through a lot of it maybe 2 40lb bags a month or so. I don't mind this because it's so cheap way cheaper than feline pine and the same thing , but I feel like I'm making a lot of garbage. My question is am I supposed to add water to fluff up the pellets first? either way, I still think this is great stuff to use for litter.Thanks everyone All these answers were so helpful. So my mom cat litter box has been in my bathroom for a week r 2 and i been breathing it in this hole time so I just put a hooddie around my mouth and nose and hold my breath like ten times get it outside so each time I stop I wash my hand put the hooddie back on and grab it again was it ok to do it this way and was it bad to hold my breath because I hold it till I chould not breath hardly is that bad for the baby

Hello, I wanna teach my cat to use toilet and in some point I will put litter on the toilet and I am afraid that I will get a serious clumping problems Is there any litter that can be flushed with water for easy clean and stay away from clumping my toilet ?Please helpI don't want an answer like cat doesn't use toilet because this not what I asked so please if u don't know don't answer and wast your time and mine
Is cat litter safe...?
For one of my hamsters, I use ferret and rabbit litter in her potty. I know that it's supposed to clump together and that it's clay based. But it's such a mess and hassle to scoop it out that I think I might try using a cat litter instead. I know it's meant for cats, but it's generally just as dust free as the rodent kind and she likes the finer, smaller pieces of litter anyway. Is this safe? I will look it up some more and ask around, but I would like more opinions. Thanks

the cat litter i have now one of my cats does not like.. not sure what it was called as i threw the container away already..normally i just buy the cheapest kind. but shes been urinating in front of the litter box. ive looked up things on google on picking the best kind of litter and they all tell me the pros and cons.. but those are pros and cons for the people having to clean it up .. how do i know what my cats like? i dont want to buy every brand and wait till she stops pissing on the carpet... shes a long haired persian. my cats are constantly scratching the sides of their boxes to clean their paws so i probably need something not so thick and clumpy? what kind of litter do you use or recommend?i have a litter mat for their paws. but like i said. SHE PEES IN FRONT OF THE LITTER BOXES. so she pees on the mat if its there so i dont have them use it anymore

when i was younger we had a Siamese cat female and a tabby, orange and white, and another siamese cats all male. the female had a litter and had all 3 types of cats in 1 litter. my grandmother doesnt believe me and says thats impossible. is it? and is there any sites that proves her wrong? i have no idea how i would google that. ive tried
Is it ok to put my cats litter box where he would have to jump to it?
32 inches 2 & 1 2 feet up. Would that be ok, or would it damage his joints? if it matters, he's 3 years old.it would be way back on a very wide long shelf, i dont think he would fall. he would have 2 feet of room in front of his box.Rico " I'm sorry if you think I don't know things but I do. " where did THAT come from?? are you trying to instigate something? also, his box IS in a closet. and he already has to jump almost a foot up to it, because that is how my closet was built. there is no where to put it in the bathroom and thats the only place i have for it where it wont be in the way but i hate having to block it off with my fan and litter container so my dog wont get in and play with cat cr p....yes, she PLAYS with the cats poop, then leaves it on the living room floor.Cafe i've only seen him use it about 3 times a day, and a couple times at night. he wouldn't be jumping all the time, and even if 3 times a day isn't good for him that's why im asking....you re not born all knowing. also, why i would put it on a shelf the reasons i already mentioned, its easier for me to get to, my cat loves jumping anyway, and loves sitting on shelves, he loves being face to face with me, which he would be, and it HAS to be in my bedroom, or my mom will have a fit.....i could move the cat carrier and put it black off the 4 foot section at the end of my room that i only use to store stuff and open my drawer o.o i didn't think of that..... but he would still have to jump over what ever blocks it off..... and it would be near my heater....also, like i said before, it IS in the closet. but there is no floor to my closet, just something that looks like a step stool which doesn't come out, it is basically the floor so he has to jump anyway, dodont believe me? send me a message on here with your email, i will send you a picture. " take off the closet door and hang a curtain in front of it." the landlord would be PISSED if i did that. there are frequent inspections here.....im not putting the door on and off every time there is an inspection. i DO scoop it daily. but not every single time he poops. im not a genie, i dont automatically know when he's using it, i just know from cleaning it daily that he only uses it 2 4 times a day. " You could keep the door shut to the room the box is in and then just add a door in the door big enough for the cat to pass through." again, landlord. not everyone is rich enough to own their own home, and not everyone has a landlord willing to let you do that, even if you pay for it.......my dog is pretty stupid though, i may be able to put up a curtain without taking the door down without her realizing she can go through it....also, shes a beagle and a puppy....a diffica difficult combination to work with for training.....i mean, shes easy to train with everything else, but how am i supposed to watch her 24 hours a day and tell her " leave it" when she goes near the box? attach an ankle bracelet? i certainly cant bring the box with me everywhere, no cat likes a constaintly moving litter box.
