What could be the reason for my cat hair loss problem?
The vet already does various labs and a biopsy and all results show no explanation for the hair loss

FOOD ALLERGY:Cat food allergy; cat food holistic quality: cat hair loss sojo cooking ; so jo food ;?
Hello In February I switched my cat from Innova hard kibble to wet food per request of the vet . Keeni had a problem with constipation so we switched her food and got her a fountain. She LOVES the water fountain......the canned food, not so much. After going through the shelves at the pet food store, she's incredibly picky and wouldn't eat the Innova wet food , I finally found one that she seemed to like. She's now on Wellness, but doesn't seem all that committed to it. LOL My problem is that she eats very sporadically and I'm worried about her nutrition. Some day's she'll eat a whole can 5.5oz and other days it's about half. I haven't noticed any pattern as to when she cleans her dish or not. She's acting normally, and still has lots of energy to play, but she's lost hair on the back of both legs and the bare spot on her belly is getting larger. Do you think it could be a food allergy or lack of nutrients? She'll be 14 yrs in October and hasn't had any health issues at all, so this is stumping me Also, I was thinking of trying the Nuvet supplements you've suggested to other pet owners. Do you think adding that would clear up the issue of hair loss nutritional worries?
How can I reduce cat hair loss?
My cats hair is everywhere and it even falls off when I pet her.
Cat hair loss infomation please?
my cat is 2 yrs old and just had her second littler of kittens. she is long haired and gray. she seems to be healthy and is nursing and taking very good care of her kittens. before she had the babies maybe a week before i found small piles of fur on my bed and on the floor. I dont find piles as big as those but even now its seems she is losing hair. on her back one side her fur is very thin, and the other side seems fine. I dont think it is from her laying on it bc it is closee to the spine than her stomach. please help me to find information so that i can find out what this may be.
Is Cat hair loss related to Feline AIDS?
I have a grey shorthair with feline AIDS and he has bald spots on the back of his neck. I am also finding fur patches on the floor from where they fell out or from where he scratched them out. He does have dry skin and he could be scratching his neck pretty hard. Q Is this hair loss related to the fact that he has feline AIDS?Took him to the vet last Friday and he does not have fleas, so we can rule that out...

Cat Hair loss, HELP!!!?
My female cat, 2 years old, has recently developed something that looks like the photo seen at < cat health guide.org image files catmiliaryderma2.jpg > It is in the center of her back just above her " shoulder blades." I noticed it when hair loss was about 1 4" circle about a week ago. I put some medicine on it, thinking it might be a minor injury. The hair loss is now larger. It itches her at times. I have noticed no other unusual condition behavior. Appetite is normal. How should I treat this? Do i have to give her more regular bath, i use a medicated shampoo called ANIMED. Plz help...
What could be the cause of our cats hair loss?
Recently, my cousin gave my family a cat. She had hair loss problems, and we thought it was stress or diet issues. But now, one of our other cats is losing his fur, the same way.The hair loss is on the back of the legs, the lower back and abdomen and the tail. It's particularly bad at the base of the tail. They have both been grooming themselves a lot lately. What could the problem be? Is there a cure? Will the hair loss be permanent he's such a beautiful cat long haired flame point siamese ?It's not fleas and it's not in rings, it's kind of gradual, like that cat is grooming himself bald. But only his lower half. And they are both indoor cats. We've had fleas before, and it wasn't an issue, meaning he didn't lose his fur. We have been keeping them up to date with flea medicine and the new cat has been too. We've checked for fleas, and fleas are pretty visible. Then we get this new cat who is losing her fur, on a certain part of her body. Whatever it is spreads to another cat, losing his fur in the same pattern. It sounds more like a disease or a fungus than fleas.Food alergies are not contagious. Whatever it is spread from one cat to another cat.It is not fleas, we have checked for that.If anyone knows what it is, can you tell me if the treatment is expensive, because since both my sister and I are headed off to college this year it's getting harder to find the money to even take the cats to the vet. Please help, I'm very stressed out about this.
Cat Hair Loss Question?
So we have been feeding a stray cat for the past couple months. A couple weeks ago we noticed that he had a huge clump of hair hanging from his chest and then a few days later it was gone. It's pretty much his whole chest and it looks like someone shaved it. I did some research but found that most diseases called for an irritated infection site or small patches of hair falling out, but this is only one giant spot and it's not irritated or itchy, Anyone have any ideas?I know that someone didn't shave it, I was just using that to describe what it looked like. And he isn't our cat, he's semi feral and we don't have any more room for cats so I'm not really in the position to take him to the vet.
Cat hair loss and obsessive biting?
My five year old cat has always had skin issues. She constantly bites at herself or licks too hard. Recently she has been scabbing much more and losing hair. Now she has a sore above her eye and a very noticeable bald spot. I'm wondering what this is. She has never lost her hair before. I am including pictures. Her most recent hair loss.i145.photobucket.com albums r213 omfg itshailley kitty002.jpgAgaini145.photobucket.com albums r213 omfg itshailley kitty001.jpg
Cat hair loss around collar?
Hi Everyone,I have a 3 year old cat. She's always been super healthy and never had any problems. I noticed, however, while playing with her the other day that under her collar beneath her chin she's almost totally bald for about 1 2 inches. It's all behind the collar. We keep the collar loose enough that we can get two fingers under it comfortably. Is this sort of hair problem common for cats with collars on 24 7? It doesn't seem to bother her, she never scratches at her collar or anything, but thought I'd see if anyone else had run into this...thanks
Older cat, hair loss, vomiting, loss of appetite, extremely skinny?
Two cats who are not mine have been hanging around my back yard and has stayed in my shed for almost two weeks, now. I feed them every day and keep water out there. They're clearly related, as they're friendly towards each other and look alike. The cat who seems to be older has no hair on her stomach and I've recently noticed it has been starting to thin on her back. She eats very little and when she does, she throws it up. My grandmother is not fond of them and is already annoyed with me taking care of them, so taking her to a vet is out of the question, unfortunately. I have done research online and leukemia seems to be the most popular result coming up. She also spends all day in the shed or laying down. Does anyone have any idea what could possibly be wrong? Thanks.Oh, and she keeps randomly gagging every couple minutes. Also has difficulty eating.I'm fifteen. I have NO money to take her to the vet, they'll laugh in my face if I brought her in with nothing to offer them.
