Is it okay for my rabbit to wear a cat collar?
My rabbit is not a house rabbit, but does spend a lot of time inside. Sometimes he does get up to mischief, and I like to keep track of where he is so yeah. He's now 3 years old and is allowed free roam of the upstairs downstairs of the house for a few hours a day. He is generally very good, although does get up to some mischief. I recently found his cat collar I somehow got hold of it when he was a young bunny and he seemed fine when I put it on him once as well as a Christmas jumper he used to wear when he was a baby he didn't complain abou tthe jumper if anything he loved the attention . and have found it to be very useful when finding out where he is what he is doing in the house via the bell. Is it any harm to him? He makes a bit of a fuss when I start to put it on him he hates being touched under his mouth but once it's on he doesn't complain whatsoever. When I bring him back to his hutch I take it off, and it is placed loosely enough for me to fit two fingers and a bit through he has a lot of fur around his neck so it's difficult to make it any looser in the hasty way I have to put it on . It isn't a buckle collar, and has a 'safety button'? Meaning that if it should get caught somewhere it will automatically unbuckle itself. However, this probably won't be necessary seeing as I'm nearly always supervising him.Will it be okay? He acts as if it doesn't matter to him, and he never tries to tug it off let it interfere when he's scratching. I just want to make sureThanks

I have a 5 month old all black kitten with longer fur. I like to keep a collar on him but it's hard to find one that I like. Right now he's wearing a dog collar and hasn't had a problem, so please don't lecture me. I really want to get a collar with a bow or something on it. My cat breaks out in sores when I put a normal collar on him. I think it something about them that he's allergic to. I have no choice but to leave it off of him. But he gets outside so much it worries me that he'll be lost without any ID to bring him home. I want to find a collar that is specially made for this purpose. I don't know what they're called exactly or where to go looking for one. Please help.I thought about the microchip, but I want him to have something visible so my neighbors can bring him to me. You know people might think he's a stray and not take him to the SPCA or Animal Control where they check for microchips.

Cheap (possible wholesale) NYLON safety cat collars?
We have 6 cats, all of which were strays in the beginning. I do my best to make sure they all have collars on, but they each lose them at least once every 6 months or so. It's getting expensive to just keep buying new ones from the pet stores around here, and I don't really care about the appearance of them, aside from the color. I want to keep a collar on my cat for i.d. purposes. She is about 9mos old and an indoor outdoor cat. I have tried several times but the puppy 10months old keeps chewing them off. I have tried soaking the collars in no chew spray and also no scratch spray but nothing is working. Any suggestions? The main goal is for the cat to have i.d. on her. Thanks
