Anyone would recommend books about cat care, health, info and such. For now, i have the " Well Cat Book" but it doesnt give me satisfaction..i wanted to know more about breeds.P.S. It would help me more if its an e book. Thanks

Does my cat care for kittens?
my cat just had her kittens a few hours ago and now she follows me every where and doesn't really seem to be caring for kittens unless i am in the room with her. she had them in my room and when i leave her in there she cries and then she finally gos with them but she see that i go in she follows meyes this is her first time having kittens

Declawed cat care...?
Before anyone bashes me... we are not the ones who got the cat declawed. We adopted her yesturday, and found out one month ago she had been declawed. Ive looked over the internet trying to find a few answers and almost cried when i saw pictures of how the procedure is done , but I still cant seem to find the answer I was looking for... SOOO...We were told she has been using Good news cat litter the pellets made from old news paper because of the declawing. How long do you continue to use this cat litter? Some sites say a few months, others say 2 weeks. When can I begin transitioning her back to a clumping litter without causing any harm to her paws? Ive looked them over gently, and I dont see any stitches, no redness, nothing, but she definantly does not want them touched i dont blame her .Any advice or anything on the care of a newly declawed cat would be awesome
Per week how much does cat care cost?
Me and my mum have come to an agreement that if I pay for care e.g food, litter, toys I could have a cat. If you could please give an estimate on how much food litter will cost a week cheap foods and stuff though please as well as the cost of a few toys a bed and bowls ect to start of with so I know how much to save thank you x

Alrighty, I'm a pedantic cat " owner" . I know that. So please bare with me if my questions are stupid 1. Should I rotate my cats toys? He has HEAPS too many... Really. Too many . So should I change the toys which are out each day? Also, he has 3 big cat scratchers to the ceiling with loads of gadgets attached . Should I rotate them as well?2. I have two cat DVD's which go for two hours each and just show nature things with typical prey animals on the screen. I generally leave them on when I go out to work or something and just put them on repeat. Do these actually do anything? Do cats enjoy them?3. I have a cat water fountain cooler thing but my cat doesn't seem anymore interested in that than a typical water bowl. Should I just go back to a water bowl?And lastly...4. I use a toy thing to feed my cat his meals. It's like a food maze where I put the food in at the top and he has to push it through to the bottom ozpetshop.com.au product info.php cPath 38 109 products id 3056 . Is that cruel? hi there i am interested in adopting a cat, i have already selected a few i like from pet finder, i just need to narrow it down. but before i go any farther i an wondering what is the daily care of cats, coming from a cat owner preferably. also is the care of 2 cats all that different from one? and how often do you tend to their litter boxes? i know some people will write that i need to do my research and stop turning to yahoo answers, but i have done my research and everyone seems to have different opinions. i have heard that you tend to the box twice a day every 3 days. can some one give me some answers? thanks so much o anyone who answers

Cats care dilemma for the weekend?
I have two cats and hardly ever go out of town but I am for Christmas weekend Thursday Sunday night My kitten and cat still do not get along too well to leave them together alone for that long. I was gonna board one and keep one at home. I have a feeder and water fountain, two litter boxes and hopefully someone to look in on her at least one day while I am gone I kinda prefer to board the kitten because he can be a little destructive and I want to give my 17 month old cat free roam around the house thats shes been missing in the past few months.I do not want to leave either cat for any longer than I have to and was wondering if it would be worse on my kitten if i take him to the boarder the afternoon before I leave which would mean he would be there 5 nights or maybe I can have him spend the night at a friends for one night and they take him to boarder. The boarder is just the vets office so he will be kooked up When my kitten was a baby he was being fostered by different people and sometimes spent the weekend in diff places. Hes been in one place with me for the past 3 months.I am already leaving town a day after everyone else because of the cats.Thanks " I Don't Wanna" so anyone else got opinons on me keeping both cats together? I did think of that too and kinda figured separating them now would undo what I have accomplished so far.It would be easier so I wouldn't have to worry about leaving one alone.Could this be a good thing for them? keeping them together will get them to learn to tolerate each other better?I do have them together more now than before and separate them when they get too screechy.
Do cats care for their owners or do they just want food?
This one guy answered a question very similar to this, and he said that cats only want food and they couldn't give a toss about you. Now, I don't believe this. I believe that most cats do care about you and not just because you feed them. If what he was saying is true, then why would cats bring you back mice as a 'Present' and curl up on your lap even after they've been fed? What do you think? Do cats really like love us or do they just want food??
How much should I charge for cat-care?
...looking for a once per day or maybe twice per day visit to feed our 2 cats while we are on vacation from 7 15 8 2. We normally feed them once in the morning and once in the evening, and scoop the litter, and change the potty box a couple times 3 times? while we are gone...How much should I charge if I agree to the above service? The care is easy enough but it's a lot of going back and forth. I should note that I am not a student and got the job offer through a reference I have never met the owners before. Also I am experienced with extended stay house sitting and pet care but have never done so as a per visit situation.
