What cat breeds have these qualities?
Long tail, big ears big green yellow eyes, medium black coat with a brown undertone, VERY talkative, and I've had cats before he is 100 times more playful than any kitten I've been around. We adopted a cat a while ago, and I just refuse to believe that such a small cat about 7pounds at 9 months , who has a tail as long as his body length nose to tail base , is just some 100 breed mix picked up from the street. Not saying he's purebred but there has to be some short mix to him.

Best dog/cat breeds for an apartment?
I'll be moving out shortly into my own apartment and I'd like to get a pet or two . The most you can have is 2 pets dogs cats .I'd be at work during the week from 8 5, so I feel it might be best to get 2 dogs if I get any dogs so they would be less lonely in the apartment by themselves. Does that make sense? What about getting a dog and a cat? Or would it still be better to get 2 dogs?I think 2 cats would be the best choice, but I do really want a dog Growing up I've always had a cat and a dog though, the longest they were ever by themselves was 7ish hours , so I know what's needed to keep them happy and healthy.Either way, I plan on adopting the dogs cats from a shelter, so it's not like I have control over what breed I get, but what are some good breeds dog or cat for apartments...Less energy, more laid back, less barky...

Hi, I've been researching cat breeds extensively for the past several months and have narrowed down my list to Abyssinian, Ragdoll, and Russian Blue. I live in a smallish studio apartment and will have about 4 months while finishing graduate school to raise the kitten before I begin working full time.I'm looking for a quiet, low maintenance cat that does not shed much, isn't shy when I have guests, and enjoys cuddling or sitting on my lap. The cat will live only indoors and should be okay with moving to a different apartment and possibly doing a bit of travel on a bus or train. I feel like the Ragdoll would be the best fit, if only it were smaller and short haired. I have also considered the Devon or Cornish Rex but unfortunately, along with the Ragdoll, they are all rare in the country I'm currently living in South Korea .I would appreciate any advice, especially from people who have owned the breeds that I have mentioned. Thank you

In my experience the neutered males are the most relaxed cat sex, but what is the most relaxed breed of cat? I know Persians are very calm and tolerant, but they look kind of freaky not attractive to me. Are there more 'normal' looking cats who can match or exceed the Persian's lazy snuggliness?I am looking for the sort of cat who is quiet, lazy and will let me push him over and pet him whenever I feel like it. I'm hoping to get a kitten in about 2 weeks time. I have had a cat before, but don't want a cat exactly the same as him because I don't want to replace him, I just want another cat. I would like one that is cuddly and sometimes playful in it's adult life, and a moderately small breed with short to mid length fur. , But I don't like the really skinny siamese kind of cats.
