Siberian cat breeders in Australia?
I'm thinking of adopting a Siberian kitten, and need a trustful cat breeder. I live in Sydney, Australia. Please help, and thanks a lot in advance
What is a cat breeders contract about.?
Ok so I'm doing a project for school and don't really understand what a breeders contract means.This is what one breeder has on his site you will get a breeder contact for life. All kittens sold as pets will be required to be neutered or spayed by the age of 6 months and will be sold with a neuter spay contract. TICA papers are withheld until proof of castration has been shown to the breeder.Does his mean at the person who purchased the kitten as a Pet, has to get it fixed? Or does it mean that the buyer still can breed the pet cat, but they can not have it's pedigree papers?
Is it hard to become a successful cat breeder?
I am 17 years old and looking at possible side jobs for when i get older. I REALLY like savannah cats and want to breed them, not a big operation just 2 females and 1 male. but i dont know where i would start or how i would know which cat lines are good ones.. im just lost i live in MN and there are only 2 breeders here. im not sure if they would get mad if i just emailed to ask questions. and also, if these cats are so expensive why dont more people raise them? there in the top 10 most popular breeds?

Um there a couple of reason why I am askingI am looking at the shelter but depends what they have available I'm looking for particular temperment in the cat, and I know a local birman breeder which has the temperment I am looking for. I am defiantly not against adopting at all.Moggies and Birmans are the main one, Ragdoll x are occassional found here. I am in australiaDeclawing is illegal here in australia and even if I moved overseas, this would not be an option, furniture is not as important as the welfare of the cat.

Question for siamese cat breeders?
Lets say you bred a male siamese flame point father being lynx point and mother being a flame point to an all white cat mother being all white, father tabby how likely is it to get a flame point OR a lynx point?I do not plan to breed them, I'm just curious. Are you a cat breeder? Why do you breed? I know allot of people say they just love the breed and don't do it for the money. But Lets just say You still had to do everything you do know and sell the kittens for $5 bucks would you?????Medical care does not cost that much. Good food does not cost that much. Keeping pets in full heath does not cost that much.It does not cost them that much to take care of them sorry.My Question is this > Do Breeders breed because of LOVE or MONEY????And what if a breeder breeds there cat more then 2 times a year???I'm not saying they should sell them for $5 bucks but they also should not breed because of greed...I know a breeder who had the cats first litter and they are already sick...
