Is there such a thing as long-term cat boarding in people's homes?
I was offered a job assignment out of the country and cannot take my cat. It will be four months, and my family is unable to help out boo I know , what options exist for me now besides giving her up, of course . I cannot imagine boarding her for four months. I also will not be renewing my lease since I will be gone therefore I can't have in home pet sitters come to my place. Friendly ideas guys? I hear there are more and more pet sitters doing this in their home, but is that different for cats? Thanks.

Ok I want to open a dog cat bordering daycare here at my home I have a newly fenced in yard I am wanting to build a addition to my home to place the kennels, also where the addition would be added I have a din that has a sliding glass door that will open up to the kennel area. I want to turn the din in to my office the din can easily be separated from the rest of my home so it will be professional. I want to know in the eyes of the customer when taking your dog to a boarding facility what is important to you? what do you look for?Additional services? appearance? Would the fact that it will be a residence turn you off? please any opinions even critics are accepted thanks

When im older, I want to open my own dog and cat boarding place as well as part of it being a rescue. The kennels i want to be indoor outdoor. The inside will be like 4x4 and have a door to go outside to a 4x5 or something. And during the day they will be outside playing with each other in big fenced in fields. How many kennels should i have for boarding?? And then the cats will be in cages inside. And then during the day they will be let into big rooms or fenced in outdoor area to play. How many cat cages should i have? And then i want to have one big fenced in area and have a doggie day where they will stay there all day and play. And then i want to have a section for dogs and cats that i would save from being put to sleep at pounds and then i would adopt them out, etc.. How many dog kennels should i have for them? How many cat cages?Also, how many fenced in areas should i have for all this and how big?? Please give me any advise you may have. Thankss Ohh, and I also wanted to have a basic training thing where the dog would stay there for a certain amount of time for training and stuff. So how many kennels should i have for that? Thanks I would charge $25 a day per dog and $20 for additional dogs. or $20 a day per dog if they are staying there more than two weeks? I would charge $15 a day per cat and $10 for additional cats. or $10 a day per cat if they are staying for more than two weeks? I would charge $15 a day for doggie daycare. if they make a plan to come everyday or almost everyday then only $10 a day? I would also do bath and brush which would be $15 a dog and $10 a cat? And clip nails for $5? And then the basic training would be $300 and they would stay for one month.Let me know what you think Thanks
Oklahoma City - Cat Boarding?
Need a good place to board an older male cat for 3 weeks. Pet sitting is not an option. Does anyone know a reputable place to board cats in Oklahoma City or surrounding areas? I want a place for him to have a little freedom and not be in a small cage the whole time. Also don't want him starved or neglected. Please provide a name, website, and or telephone of the business if you can. Please help I'm trying to find out for my parents, so they can come visit me.
