im going to adopt a cat somewhere in FT lauderdale,Florida. and its my first time..i was wondering do i bring the cage or will they supply it to me....and how much will the fee cost?? im probably getting a kitten of or a middle aged cat

I'm adopting a cat, hopefully, tomorrow, and i was wondering how much it costs to adopt?I adopted a dog during the rehoming week and it cost 70, but i'm presuming a cat wouldn't be of that price, particuarly as the cat i'm interested in is only 7 months old.Does anyone have any idea of the price?Thanks

I saw a cat for adoption in the petsmart by my house, and my heart is calling out to rescue her. She is one of the 'outcast' cats that have been in the adoption system for a really long time.Even though I want to save all animals there is just something that calls out to me.However, we have two cats already and our city has a limit of two animals or you have to get a permit.I can afford to pay for this animal, and am ready to put in the effort to introduce her to our other two cats as well.So if I were to lie about having two cats would it be all that bad?

My neighbor is a little old lady that lives alone except for her 2 cats that are indoor and outdoor cats, these cats aren't like any cats that Ive ever seen they are very timid and only show effection twards her Idk maybe she addopted them at one point...any ways she loves her cats very much as they will only go to her any ways.last week her cat went missing she has had these cats for about 5 6 years, we think that someone saw it outside on her front lawn and snatched. The cats never leave the yard but they are timid or anti social cats and would easily be confused with a stray...but they do not act like this with my neighbor the cats only love her...it's weirdSo when it diapeared I helped her try and find it, we put up signs, checked the news papper under lost found pets, called the animal controll which were no at all...then we stopped into the newly opened cat adoption center and they straight up admitted to taking cats off peoples properties, basically someone gets paid to go around my town and steal pets. They said that if they picked up my neighbors cat that it would have already been re sold.Is this wrong? I mean to go on private property and steal pets.....is there something we can do to shut them down?
I need ideas for my November cat adoption?
I am a cat specialist for the humane society and the month of November I want to have a cat adoption special. I have so many cats the board has instructed me to either get real creative and get the 247 cats and kittens adopted out by the end of the year or we will be forced to put all but 50 down we are busting at the seams the cost to feed them is killing our budget. At the shelter we are spending over $1000 a month to feed, that is $600 over our monthly budget for cat food and we can not keep this up. I really need some GREAT marketing ideas for the month of November. I have used my ideas up so far this year I am drawing a blank, I have had many cat specials this year to try to get my kitties moving......better with a buddy buy one get one free.......halloween special black and orange cats free .....find the love of your life for valentines day special....all cats free the month of August...senior cats free all year...the fur ball dance to raise money for my cats...spring fever... sing us a christmas song and receive a free cat....I have drawn a blank for November and Thanksgiving I need a real catchy slogan...cats can be 1 2 price..free....I just need to get my cat adoptions moving Something to really draw attention to our great kitties Thanks for all the great ideas I sure you guys will have Your ideas may help save a shelter cat Yes we have a contract with Science Diet and Walmart we only pay for shipping and handling.We are a very small shelter that is ran off of private donatins only we are only large enough to hold 50 dogs and 50 cats. Our funding is closely monitiored. Right now we have 247 cats and 110 dogs. Like I said we can not afford to feed and house all of them. It is a matter of space and funding the money is running out it is not there. I will be surprised if my shelter is here a year from now. So sorry you feel that it is wrong to give away a cat or kitten We have a very good adoption process in place we throughly check out any adopter,there employment and have home and vet checks. Right now the board wants to come in and kill over 40 dogs and 195 cats and kittens. I understand your line of thinking but sorry I would rather give a animal a chance them kill it..So many people are looking for cats right now for rituals. The worst time of the year...people what people where is the story on this...must be really secret cause I have yet to hear or read about it in my local paper Sorry guys.....you know what how bout you come to my shelter and help me play God and pick out who lives and who dies.... I found a stray kitten this spring but couldn't keep him because of my allergies. I luckily found a guy that could keep him until we found an owner for him. This weekend he texted me saying he would be at the adoption event at Petsmart, so I stopped by to meet the cat. The cat's behavior was not anything like it was when I had him. He was sleeping the entire time, I could not wake him up at all. I got him to halfway open his eyes at one point and they were all red and sleepy. This was the case of all the cats there, even the kittens at 9 weeks old were just sleeping the entire time and it was impossible to wake them...
Cat adoption. did i do the right thing?
I found a stray about 2 months ago and I took her in. She was pregnant at the time and now I'm looking for homes for the kittens. I posted ad's everywhere and someone emailed me back and I just feel weird about this. Like, she told me she really wants one for her daughter but her " huge concern" is that her husband is " deathly allergic" but she still wants to adopt one. I know the huge problem there are for cats out there and how overpopulated they are and I just don't want the kittens to go to unfit homes. Like they become problem for people and they just get dumped or left someplace. I don't want that. I want them to have really good homes without concerns or problems.I have to email her back, but what can I say to be nice? Theres no way I will just hand them over to someone who can't fully care for them like being allergic, or can't hold or play with them, etc.
Lost my cats adoption papers?
I first adopted her and had them, with all the information, I'm setting up her first vet appointment and it's asking for her microchip , etc, but I can't find her papers Are they really necessary and how should I get another copy? It's already been approximately 8 months since I adopted her

So I put an ad on Petfinder.com & this is one of the responses I received Hello, i know you might have spend some token on this three cats but i will offer you a donation of $70 as the amount added will serve as the feeding fee till the arrival of my shipping company , i have a shipping company that are capable in shipping pets across the coast on air and they assure safe delivery of the pet while in flight. moreso the payment will bear the cost of the pet plus the shipping cost which means that the payment will come in an excess. you can as well contact the shipping company at livepets fly rediffmail.com , and they made me know that the pet will be picked up right at your door step so you dont have to stress your self about the shipping. i live in utah with my husband and two kids one is 14yr and the other is 16yr old. we live on a property of our own fenced round with enough space for the pet to run up and down if needed. living in utah dosnt mean anything but what matter most is the love and care my family will share to this pet cos we love pets so much. like i have explain to you that i have a pet moving company that will handle the shipping , they will come to the location where the pet is with their vet doctor and a vet check will be carried out and they will also come along with a cage where they wil put the cats in and then proceed to the airport cos the shipment will be on air. so if you are okay with this kindly forward me with this information , name to issue the check,your address to send the check to and your phone number. i await your response. My question is is it just me or why would someone wanna adopt a kitten from DFW Texas & ship them to Utah?? Please give me some advice.
